| Organization Member | ..I know to many it will sound dumb and a useless question but just listen. We all know that Heartless are the darkness of people's hearts made real through the person's heart, and that Nobodies are the empty shells of someone's body that is missing a heart. So to me that has always seemed strange and I mean the names of both these enemies. If a Nobody is a being missing a heart shouldn't IT be called a Heartless while being the heart itself (just of darkness) and missing a body shouldn't the Heartless be called a Nobody. I understand that obviously it makes sense to everyone, but to me I just believe the names being switched would make more sense. Thanks for reading ^^ |

"Heartless" can also mean cruel, evil, which describes the heartless and the people who make use of them pretty well. "Nobody" can also someone worthless, irrelevant, which is what the nobodies are essentially are: according to the cosmology of KH they don't even exist. |

| Organization Member | Ok Hades you have a good point. The unbirths we barely know about except they have some connection to heartless and nobodies and that they existed and became extinct before KH1 |

| The Lightning in the Rain | They are beings, but they don't exist as full people. They don't 'feel' anything. |

Nobodies implies no bodies, but they do have bodies. Unbirths implies no birth, but they do have birth. ie Birth by Sleep. | |
