I most certainly am not shallow! I care much more about a girl's personality than just her looks.
I do find appearances important, but they aren't the most important thing in a girlfriend/spouse by far.

I get the impression it is supposed to be black.
But then again, I read somewhere (i think Wikipedia) that his hair and eyes change colours depending on what he is doing or something like that
