Exclamation Lack of violence in KH: very important subject of talk

THIS IS TO DISPROVE THE TALK ABOUT DISNEY BEING THE ONE PREVENTING VIOLENCE FROM KH-GAMES! NOT ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT THERE SHOULD BE MORE VIOLENCE IN KH-GAMES!

This is the one of the greatest wrong beliefs in this forum!
I see it in many threads. Like in 55% of all threads of future of kh -section there is more or less talk concerning this subject.

The subject is that there will never be anything beyond cartoon violence in any KH-game! Actually the wrong belief isnt in this, but now it comes here!!

People think that KH hasnt got and never will have much violence because of DISNEY! This is a totally wrong belief ! :/

The reason is Square Enix! The slashing light-effects without visible wounds are all from Square Enix(good example is Riku wounded heavily by Xemnas, still even the clothes havent changed). Im not saying that it is bad thing to have, but Square Enix is the one to make those. So blame them and not Disney if you have to.

Its all urban myth and nothing else that Disney hasnt got much violence. Its all wrong! There is lots of violence in the Disney Films. Now comes to my mind at least:

Tarzan - Clayton the villain is hung to death, the "father" of Tarzan is shot to death, the real mother&father of Tarzan are killed by the jaguar or whatever that animal was...

Lion King - the father of Simba is killed by Scar, dropped to death. Scar also dies in a same way.

the Hunchback of Notre Dame - Quasimodo´s mom is killed by Frollo. Her neck snaps!!! Frollo the villain is dropped from the church to fire. The Captain gets shot near his heart with a bow.

Snow White - This is a matter of opinion if its violence, but Snow White DOES die! Yeah its true.

Beauty & the Beast - Gaston the villain is killed by the Beast, dropped to death. Beast is stabbed by Gaston(correct if im wrong) and actually dies, but the love of Belle revives him!

Bambi - Bambi´s mother is shot! Now you can complain that they are just animals, but they have feelings of humans! So it isnt any different from a Disney human dying, except that both are fictional.

I think these are enough now..

IMPORTANT NOTE AT THE ENbr /> Disney wanted Donald, Mickey, Goofy not have swords just because those character have an non-violent image. You should in no way understand this in a way that Disney opposes violence!

I figured I'd throw out there though, that with the exception of the PotC movies, most Disney movies nowadays are less violent.
The movies you listed are all reasonably old, none of them more recent than the nineties.
Since then, mothers all across the globe have been making a fuss of everything and with kids being retarded enough to mimic things on tv, censorship has increased dramatically in the more recent years.

It is very difficult to find any Disney movies within the last decade that has had any real violence.

I´d like to read some articles about parents complaining. One funny thing is the disney channel(which suck imo)! Their advertisment said "Absolutely no violence!". Well, I opened my TV and there was a free period of Disney Channel and there was this girl doing martial arts. LOL!!

You have honestly never heard of complaints towards violence and sex on tv/movies?
Im not talking about parent's reactions towards older movies.
I mean, ones that are currently being made

I wouldn't doubt it was was more Square-Enix's idea.
Blood hasn't been seen in Final Fantasy until Final Fantasy Versus XIII apparently.

But are there really some issues about Parents vs. Disney? Or were you talking about all violence given to kids? Disney never had any so called influencing violence. The violence was always necessary for the story & characters.

I think that there is no violence in Disney movies nowdays because they all suck in all areas also! Tell me one good Disney movie since year 2000 which had no violence? I really cant think of any since 2000 that I know..

You sure on that?
I watched the Aerith's death scene... no blood. And that's her getting impaled by a sword.
And i remember people reading about how FFv13 had blood in it and it was a first for the series:
See:
Quote:
. As a testament towards his desire for realism; in the PlayStation Premier trailer, in contrast to previous Final Fantasy titles, Versus XIII had a greater display of graphic violence with an instance of blood
I wouldn't know though, for I hate Final Fantasy.

Parents versus the FCC and various other shit.
And saying as Disney has now become ideal for placing well..ideals in young children...

Lawlz

And really, what makes a movie 'good' is your opinion if anything.

The opening of FFVIII has blood when Squall gets his face sliced by Seifer thus getting his scar. Sephy was also seen covered in blood in FFVII.

Anyways KH doesn't need more violence it needs more character development, better in depth story lines and less redundancy. Violence should be the last thing on the KH agenda.

Ignore this in total, but I wanna share my opinion:

Our kids dont watch(well my mum´s and dad´s)arent allowed to watch Disney Channel because we have an image that they make children dumb. The series are hollow colorful crap to brainwash kids! The plots are horrid and the adverts also. Our country has a kids channel called Sub Junior which is totally awful!! The adults talking between the shows are wackos!! Scary faces and talk!

Did you happen to read the red, bold and CAPS text in the first post or then I was too slow?
