Nobody, Hearless

I've wondered this for quite awhile now, A Heartless has a heart but no body. Yes it says Heart"less"

A Nobody has a Body, but no heart. Yet it says no"body". So, is it just me, or is everything backwords?

Or did Nomura just, how you say, mental? "i dont want to say crazy, because i love his other games"

So whats the deal with this, can i hear your opinions on this?

If there was already a post like this, sorry.

The names are figurative. At least, that's my take on it. The heartless aren't necessarily walking hearts, not of the regular kind anyway. They are hearts contaminated with darkness, and they crave more and more hearts. Since they always hunger for more, they always seem 'heartless'. Another way to look at it would be to say that they steal other people's hearts without feeling guilt or remorse, so they're 'heartless.'

As for nobodies, they are nothing. They just are. They have no significance and are not even full people, so they are 'nobodies', not 'no bodies'.

Umm.....wow, I'm pretty sure something like this thread has been made now. Not to mention that it was in the game, so it should of explained everything--well alot of stuff about that in the game.
