Because after KH2 is when coded takes place I dunno we are just assuming/guessing until further info comes in, like every other topic on here!~.

Someone mentioned this in a former topic. I can't remember who it was, but here's how what they thought and what I agree with. Perhaps the letter was written after Coded explaining to Sora everything that happens over the course of that game. Maybe Coded is a bridge leading to KHIII and Mickey is filling Sora in on what's going on.

Its because that Sora (The one in KH1 clothes) is a digital version created from Jimminy's Journal being digitized. Jimminy finds a message in his journal that he doesn't remember writing, Mickey digitizes the journal's contents and creates computer Sora to find out what the message means. And computer Sora relives his old adventures and so on and so forth.

Who knows? For now that's my answer. Otherwise, I would say probably something in the future's bound to happen. It's a mystery to me but I wonder if it's some kind of another new adventure for Sora.

well it's confirmed that KH3 is Sora's last story and it's also confirmed that you find out what it says in coded

According to an interview with Nomura, he came up with an interesting story... when a heartless is no more, the heart goes to a "void", waiting for the body and soul to return. When the nobody of the heartless is defeated after, the body, soul, and heart join together. If the nobody is defeated without the heartless being killed first, the heart stays in the void and the body and soul become truly nothing. Sora defeated Ansem then Xemnas. So Xehanort must be back! Dun dun dun!
