Light and Darkness?

There's been a recent thread by SufferingAngel that gave me an idea of what side the characters from BBS are.

Everyone has thought Light is always good, and Darkness is bad...But Riku used Darkness to help the Light. The idea is that, maybe MX was actually the good person in BBS...and that VAT are the bad ones. Another thing that hints to them being bad is in the scan with Terra and Malificent:

In the scan, he smiles as if he agrees with Malificent in whatever she says to him. The thing is, we've thought about VAT being the good persons of BBS...but we don't know that for sure.

Well, I suppose its possible, though how you could think someone who looks like MX and spawned DS is not evil is beyond me... But, as for the Malificent thing, I believe Terras story is going to be similar to Rikus.... So I think Terra mite has some sort of temptation or something evil going on, but I dont think that we should say "THEY are evil" just because of Terra

Another thing...maybe Terra walks the path of Twilight. Because when MX talks to him in one seen, he tells him:

"Cross the wall between the Light and Darkness, to me."

Which may hint that Terra is Twilight. While he might use Light, he might be on the Darkness' side. Just like Riku, who used Darkness, but was on the Light's side.

Possible and it also could be that maybe Terra's tricking Maleficent and grinning in accomplishing that. But its also plausible that he could be commiting bad deeds. Kinda hard to saw with lack of info, but good theory.

Well with completely new characters, Nomura might change things a bit. You know how he has twisted things in the past (Ex: The Ansem killed in KH1, not the real Ansem. A fake that called itself Ansem). Nomura has gone deep into story plots, and who knows what else could be up his sleeve.

If KH makes a plot in which MX is in fact good, this serie will become my favorite next to my absolute favorite serie. I fear this kind of plot is hard to make, and is going to be harder in an universe as KH. However, if Nomura succeed to do this, it'll be great for sure.

Like in fact MX wants protect the worlds, in his own way, which differs of VAT's way. MX is not evil in this view, he has different viewpoint of VAT.

The appearance aren't always correct. Beside, in a scene where MX asks Terra to correct his mistake, MX looks "good".

Terra will probably be like Riku, but i have a feeling he doesn't overcome it in the end. Light and Darkness =/= good or evil, its just like heads or tails on a coin. Riku overcame it, but still needed it for good purposes.

Either way, I can easilly see this spawn into another "were the Organization good or bad?" Thread. Namely - hell.
For now we're shown with an extremely powerful Master tearing apart three seemingly helpless mere-Wielders. Also, MX has 'made a mistake' and got someone messed up with Darkness.
So I donno. There's still too much we don't know for there to even really be a discussion, I think ^^;;;

It's true we don't much yet, and at the look of the Secret Ending, if not evil MX looks at least sadistic, which is not to help his case. Considering he defeats the hero, he apparently is evil...

It reminds me of the Secret Ending of Dirge of Cerberus. No spoiler, but it's about like first time we look it character in looks evil, but after having played another game in fact we understand they're good. I am really hoping BBS could have such plot twist.

At the point of view from VAT, MX might look evil for how he fought them...but if you look at it from MX's perspective, he could be trying to stop them from doing something evil. The quote from MX that
Lezard Valeth provided, also seems to support this theory partially. But there's too little information at this point to really tell.

i have to admit MX not being evil would be intersting and unexpected, but from the secret trailer it seems a little hard to believe. if he was trying to stop VAT from doing something evil he must have really been enjoying it cuz he was smiling the whole time.
