Seriously though, I'd personally probably be most upset at Riku's death, and I could see them making it pretty dramatic.
that's original. Sephiroth kills Cloud, and you battle Sephiroth for good. one death that won't be dramatic is Malificent's. Why can't she just die?

I would say Tron hahaha. But really if the next game takes a slightly more mature approach kill off Riku could work well and send Sora into a blind rage just taking everyone out. But i just like that kinda thing when a character goes off the deep end.

i thought in kh2 when riku protected sora from xemnas and got kicked that he might be killed. i screeched and dropped the controller. if he died i know it'd be in some fashion like that, protecting his friends.

if sora died, though, that would probably be just as sad because he did so much and then he was killed. sadly, though, it would be a fitting end to the series.

but knowing disney, no one of that importance would die. they'd kill bad guys or mothers, no problem, but not happy-go-lucky main characters or emo best friends...or, unfortunately, useless "girlfriends"

Pooh's death would be absolutely mortifying. I'd probably die along with him.

Dramatic death? That's hard but Sora's my favorite character so IF he ever dies (which I doubt) then that to me is the dramatic death, then otherwise, my second choice would had to be at least Axel and I was sadder while playing KH2 after that happened. Otherwise, if it were to be Roxas (which wouldn't make sense unless he was seperated from Sora again which I don't think he's not gonna be), then probably the previous Organization members but not as dramatic as it would of been Axel.

As ironic as it'd be, Kairi's death would be the best thing they'd do with her and would base SoKai if nothing else since Sora would mourn her - they're friends after all and it's Sora - he mourns strangers (Saving Alice, anyone?)
Too bad that once they had finally based it, Kairi wouldn't be around to enjoy it anymore (and it'd still fall under the wide majority of would-be SoKai scene which are actually plot scenes but happen to have involved Kairi so lol SoKai. Not).

Sora's death would have to be the most dramatic, if only for the fact that that beyond the shadow of a doubt would mean the end of the series (it being Sora's story and all).
Also, for better or worse he's everyone's Light, so him "going out" would affect the most people in-game (unlike say AtW's where even Riku didn't seem bothered. heck, even Mickey didn't).

Actually, he did hug Kairi...well...actually, Kairi hugged Sora. In any case, they did hug.

I would have to say having Donald or Goofy die would be dramatic, considering they are like the idiot sidekicks you can't help but love. I'm not normally a Goofy fan, but when Goofy almost died in KH2, I wsa like

"...:scared:...WTF?"

But then he came back...darn.

The death of perhaps some of the FF cameos would be nice. If any of the main trio were to be eliminated, it's probly gonna be Riku. And i could definitely see that as a new waypoint in the story.

Sora's death would be an excellent example of drama, but then we'd have to play as a new character. Here, take this completely useless and unknown character and enjoy playing as him the same way you played as Sora. This time though, your weapon is a donut and a car key.

I think that if all of the main characters were to die, Riku's death would be the most dramatic out of them.

Not if its at the end of the last game..
It'd work then, imo.

What's so hard to understand that Sora is the story of Kingdom Hearts, what with it being his story?
Sora dies = game over. And we probably won't get any new characters if we'll get to play after this. My bet would be Riku or if we'll have a TAV survivor.

I think he'd make the most drama of it being from a drama queen to an emo at times XD;

Yep, that's the biggest reason. The other reason is how mortified Sora would be; I can see him weeping over Riku's dead body, repeatedly saying, "Why!? We had something special!!"
