What character death would be the most dramatic?

They got into the castle that never was just fine. Ironically enough, they went in via the powers of light from Namine and Kairi meeting.
Sora didn't "need" Riku for anything save the fact they're best friends, even if you say Sora's the guy to use his friends like that. Which he isn't.



Until the end of the game where the KH series will end. Part of why Sora's death will hold so much value for the series.

Intresting... I admit that when Sora found Riku, he was overjoied to see him. but Sora loves Kairi (something that they should have developed more but didn't) and Kairi loves Sora. She knew that Sora was looking for Riku and she stops Riku from leaving and shows to Sora that the man infront of him is Riku and not Ansam... See how much Kairi loves Sora, so much so that she is willing to give up a moment with Sora to help him find his long lost friend.

also i didn't mean to make it seem like Sora was only looking for Riku just to get to Kairi, what i ment was the Sora needed Riku because he was not strong enough to save Kairi on his own, and he wanted to have his best friend by his side. and you are right Sora would never use his friends for personal gain, just for when he needs their help with a problem that he can't seem to get past. (Donald, Goofy, you should have helped more than you did.) Sora even said in KH "My friends are my power." He drwas strength his from his friends.

now if only they would develop Sora's relationships with all the other characters, the relationship with Riku has been fully developed.

Sora doesn't love Kairi. Those KH2 scenes were horribly made.
And more so than Kairi being good towards Sora and Riku so she stopped him from leaving, I think she knew Sora'd never ever forgive her if she let Riku go at that moment. Had she let Riku go, also, judging by KH1, Sora'd have stashed her back on the Islands again and left off. Again. Without her. Again.
Three games didn't convince me Sora loves Kairi. The best part is that even if they would've developed it, seeing their age, it couldn't have been taken truly as romance.
SoNami at least has Sora's slip of the tongue where he say "we were never friends? ...and more...?" to make it clear the nature of the relationship.
SoKai has none.

Sora's the last person to save people just for their help. He's too self-inflicting and would never admit his weakness until after it bit him in the arse.

That's why he'd never put them in danger like that. Part of why he fought along with Riku was that they had no where safe to put neither him nor Kairi at the end of KH2 - he had to have taken them with him.

I agree on both points, and actually say the first point is what makes me so pissed off at SoKai. Seeing how DI made me believe full heartly that Sora was close to best friends with Tidus, Selphie and Wakka, I find it hard to believe he cared so much about Kairi. Them not showing us more on those relationships and just expecting us to accept that since that's 'all we get to see' is, forgive me, idiotic.
From what we got to see I can say Sora cares a lot more about Leon than he does about Kairi and actually back it up with more than enough examples from the game.
