xigbar is ds

Well ive been thinking again and i came across that xigbar might actually be ds.(dark soldier)

one reason i believe this to be true is because of the scene in kingdom hearts 2 where sora and the gang are about to fight xigbar and he says something like you dont look as strong as the last three and nomura did confirm that he is referring to Aqua Terra and Ven.It has also been confirmed that he witnessed the battle himself. so if he really is ds that would explain 2 things 1.the reason why he knows about aqua terra and ven and 2.the reason why he has an eyepatch.

It hasn't been confirmed that he witnessed the battle, just that he saw TAV.

I doubt Xigbar is DS. DS looks too young, too short, and his frame is too slim.

Based on Xigbar's figure, Braig's figure is much too slim to be the DS.

Actually, It would be more like Dark Soldier being Saix. Think about it, DS is MX's apprentice, Saix is Xemnas' apprentice. It makes sense.

How did everyone learn about the names of the Ansem apprentices? When was it revealed?

i dunno if anyone caught this yet, but its impossible for Xigbar to be DS. Dark Soldier had a keyblade, and Xigbar isnt a keyblade master so... kinda fits into place...

In the Secret Ansem Reports. They were mistranslated in the NA KH2 though. The names are as follows:

Xehanort (Xemnas)
Braig (Xigbar)
Dilan (Xaldin)
Even (Vexen)
Aeleus (Lexaeus)
Ienzo (Zexion)

Nomura has confirmed that Braig saw VAT (and possibly MX/DS) when he was an apprentice to Ansem the Wise.
Meaning he can't be the DS because at the time he was Ansem's disciple.

I'll admit that Xigbar does seem to no more about the past and Xemnas than any other nobofy but, That only mean he more likely to be Ds than the other 9. While it would be interesting plot to have Ds be a chacter we already met, It sems more likely that Ds would be either a major Kh 1 or 2 chacater, or a chacater We'll meet in BBS.

Some of them are in the Jimny's journal, he others are speculations based on the "anagram + X" rule...

I disagree about your statement regarding who's important.
Some are just fillers, yeah. But I think more than just them.

I personally don't see much importance in Marluxia.

I keep seeing this brought up, (Nomura confirming Braig seeing VAT) but I've yet to read about it. Do you happen to have a link to the original article or quote to this?

This contradicts what Nomura testified earlier: "After the battle of the secret ending, ALL of them dissapeard." meaning that if Braig/Xigbar was DS, then how would you explain that he was still alive as he was gone? Gone meaning they died or poofed to death, as in Xigbar can't be DS. Also, Xemnas acknowledges Aqua as in "an old friend" meaning he knew her, does this make him DS?

Disappeared means 'to have left sight'. It doesn't insinuate they were gone forever.
I don't think Xigbar is DS, but the evidence you used isn't very good.
