Hi. I'm R-K incase you didn't recognize me from my loss of a pink-haired sig and avy.

Anyways, I had just recieved the KH2 Manga, Vol 2 today in the mail and I found a rather interesting scene within it:

-White Room-
*Nami is drawing a picture of Roxas, Hayner, Pence and Olette happily eating Ice-cream. She looks sad as she reaches for a new colour*
*Riku appears in the room*
Riku: Is Sora ready yet?
*Nami looks up with a small smile*
Nami: Yes. You'll see him soon.
Riku: ....
Riku: What are you drawing?
Nami: Roxas and... ...his friends of that world...
*She looks out of the window, at the Clock Tower in the distance*
Nami: If only he could live there forever...
Riku: ....
*Nami looks away from the window, but not at Riku*
Nami: I already know... ...you came here to erase me. That's what DiZ said. Once my job is complete, I'm no longer needed.
*She looks at Riku*
But please... ...Let me see Roxas just one more time. There's something I need to tell him.


Of course, what i'm referring to is "erase".
I should hope people see where I'm going with this. If not, let me spell it out for you =]

Ven: We're friends, so I wanted to ask you something... Erase me....


Dun dun dunnnnn. So what does this mean? Could it be the erase Ven is talking about is the same kind of erase that Nami is talking about? And I know some of you will jump on me like a venomous pack of man-eating wolves that haven't eaten in days and say that the Manga isn't canon. But you have to admit, the use of that word is an interesting one, and we do know that DiZ wanted Riku to get rid of Naminé.

If anything, i just wanted to generate some discussion on the idea, especially since the forums are dead. So... your thoughts?

That can't be possible, as Riku in BBS time would be around 5 years old...and I don't think him and Ven ever knew each other prior to Riku fighting Roxas.

It's a good idea, but most likely wrong.

Diz wanted to erase Namine out of the virtual Twilight Town, right? Riku couldn't really erase her existence, just her interfering with Roxas. I don't know if thats the same case as Ven, unless this whole virtual world nonsense becomes a plot device again.

No. DiZ wanted Riku to get rid of her completely.
As in, not in the Virtual world, but as in her "existence" completely.
The scene takes outside of the virtual world too. =/

In the game, DiZ also wants Riku to "kill" the real Naminé. Here i'll find the scene from the game:

i don't think that he would want her completely erased. please correct me if i'm wrong but namine's "existence" would return to kairi wouldn't it like roxas and sora unless by "erase" she DID mean somthing like that. And if ven meant the same thing as her......hmmmmm

I'm hardly on any theory boats.
I'm not even on this one. I was just pointing out something i found interesting in the hopes of some discussion.

But the difference with DiZ being "erased" from the world is that he was banished, exiled, etc.
but DiZ specifically wants Nami to disappear, to be disposed of, etc.

Though I suppose you could put them into the same meaning, I don't know if i could see Riku being able to dispose of Nami in the same way that DiZ was banished (though we don't know the finer details of that so we can't be sure).

Like i said, I was just pointing it out.
