-CHASERS = NEW ENEMY-

Ello all. Welcome to my new series of theories - Rehashed Theories! We all know how much people rehash the same theories and knowing this, I have decided to... Rehash them as well! Yaaay (I bet you were half-expecting me saying that I would make these to put an end to people rehashing theories, NUUUPE!). Anyways, so here is the first rehash "Chasers = New Enemies". Let's dive right in shall we?

First off, I'm sure we have ALL seen the KH2 Secret Ending 'Sunset Horizons'. At the end of the video, many words flash onto the screen and one of them is "Chasers".

Now, upon doing a little Dictionary.com Search, we find that Chasers can mean this:

This lead many people to believe that Chasers could refer to VAT or MX. They thought that it meant that they could make Keyblades. But ah, the thing is, that isn't the main definition of the word Chasers. So let's look at the main definition:

Ah! That's dramatically different from the other meaning of Chaser, now isn't it. Now, this definition could also fit nicely with VAT, seeing as they are chasing/looking for MX. But I think it is referring to something different. I believe, it is referring to the new enemies and here is why.

For someone to be a good Chaser, they would need to be fast, wouldn't they? If they were to try and keep up with what they are chasing, they would have to be as quick as them, or even quicker. You're probably thinking "So what?" Well, let's look at what one of the Developers of Birth By Sleep said:

When the battle images were shown to the public, there was a new enemy that wasn't a heartless or a nobody, what is it?
TN: It is neither, a Heartless or a Nobody, this is a new type of enemy. Because the existence of these creatures came before Heartless and Nobodies a starting point needs to be imaged, and it became a wild concept to them.
YK: Basically it becomes wild. However, its moves are fast!

So we can surmise that these Enemies are both "wild" and "fast". Two qualities very suiting for a Chaser. Don't you find? Could these new enemies be what the word "Chaser" is all about. Many of you are also probably thinking "they wouldn't give away the name of the new enemy so early", but I should also remind you that in the KH:FM Secret Ending "Deep Dive" there is a part that blatantly says:

I think it is clear that the new enemy has a great chance and probability of being the Chasers that are referred to. What about you? Discuss what you think Chaser means and what you think the new enemies are below. ^____^

If the Chasers turned out to be the new enemies, I'd be a tad dissapointed, because I've always thought their name would be something really cool.:toungesmile: But, the evedince you've presented is kind of irrefutable, so I guess the Chasers are the new enemies.

Great Theory!!! I do agree, but Terra, Ven, and Aqua could be the chasers too, since I read that they are looking for a Keyblade Master and his Apprentice.

And Chasers actually is a cool name for an enemy.

I think chasers are Terra,Ven,and Aqua because they relentlessly chase MX and DS.

Why do the new enemies have to be so fast, and if they are called Chasers, what are they chasing?

I think the chaser might be one of AtW first 6 apprentice's. You never know. It could have been Xigbar because in kh2 final mix he say that sora "wasn't half the look the other heor's were". Maybe he remember that from his former self memories. I think that is how he loss his eye, probably from an intensce battle with the keyblade weilders..........

Maybe he remember that from his former self memories. I think that is how he loss his eye, probably from an intince battle with the keyblade weilders..........

I don't necessarily agree, but I always did wonder how he lost his eye.

Well, in Sunset Horizons, it says "Chasers", meaning that if you are correct, Xigbar had to have an accomplice.
