I don't think mickey would've avoided Sora, mainly because sora wouldn't know who mickey is and Mickey would've wanted to find Sora, Because he ordered donald ond goofy to find Sora, so thus, mickey wasn't avoiding sora but just simply not paying attention.

i like to think that when mickey saw goofy and donald he knew that Sora would be in good hands. so he went to go..... well.... do what ever he had to go do

I like how everyone is just assuming Mickey wouldnt be worried that instead of a the silver boy they hired, some spikey five year old showed up.

I don't think Mickey knew, Mostly because of how little detail he left Donald.
All he said was 'the one with the key'
Though the key can disappear at will, thats a bit difficult to make someone search for.
If he knew it was Riku, he could have said silver hair, sexy belly button, etc.

Yeah i dont think it was possible for mickey to know who would have the keyblade. But something i wonder is that did he know that both Riku and Sora are able wield the keyblade?

Maybe he was a bit uncertain how the Keyblade would act? Because, clearly it was intended for Riku but it went to Sora. So maybe he knew it wasn't the sure-fire deal so instead of specifically saying "Go after the Sexy-Navel" he said to just find the key, whoever may have it.

But the reason it didn't go for riku is because riku went into the darkness right? so it just went to the next person. which was Sora. huh... if you think of it Sora was just at the right place at the right time. Hell when you look at it like that it could have been anyone....... my god it could have been like wakka (lolz)

Don't tell SA that... she likes to have the false idea that Sora didn't get the Keyblade because of dumb luck...

Ha. makes me laugh a bit. But back at the topic at hand. Mickey COULD have knowen who the keyblade was supost to go to since he knew ven terra and aqua. Like... maybe terra or someone told mickey that "He will be the one to take up the keyblade" while terra is looking at kid riku. But of corse when riku went to the darkness... it all changed. Of corse... thats my opinion...sort of...

Lets all just agree that Mickey is really bad at writing letters.
Hell, that letter from the end of KH1 probably had so many plot holes in it they removed it from CoM.

Ha. if thats true then i can only imagine what the letter at the end of KH2 says. "dear Sora Riku and Kairi. some dude is coming. come to my world somehow..... from mickey"
