Organization 13, not 14!

As we have already learned, despite there being a new member added to Organization XIII during 358 Days/2, the name does not change to Organization XIV. I've seen various reasons for why this may be on the forums but no one thread dedicated to it (Recently anyways). Why do you think the name wasn't changed?

Perhaps she rebelled against the Organization, or did something that got her turned into a dusk by Xemnas? I dunno.

Because Organization XIV doesn't sound as "menacing".

Do you mean "why didn't they change the name during the events of 358/2 Days", or "why didn't they change the name after the events of 358/2 Days"?

If it's the latter, most likely the 14th member dies in 358/2 Days. That's the most plausible and probable theory of why Organization XIII didn't change it's name after those events.

That doesn't explain why it was called Org XIII even when she was in it.
That would only explain why it was called Org XIII after she was in it.

Personally i think it is because she isnt a Nobody :O

CoM members died, why didn't they change the name then? =/

It depends how long she was there. Maybe you have to stay a while before they change it into XIV

I already said why that's probably not the reason..
Though it hasn't been confirmed if the name was changed right when Roxas entered or shortly after.
Was it ever referred to as Organization XIII in COM or RE:COM?

We already know that...but the number didn't change after that or anything.

Yes he did.
I can't speak for Re:CoM but in CoM they only referred to it as 'The Organization'.
