Kairi - and how they could've done her better

i agree with pretty much everything. kairi is a very boring charecter and they could have made her way better.
but i also agree with raz, her outfit is way cooler in kh2 ^_^

-They dropped the whole Princess of Heart idea in Com, and KH2

-They got her stolen(once again) by the main villians

-They gave her a keyblade

Yes, I know she sucks, this isn't the issue XD;
People, please.
Think of the Kairi you'd have liked to see this isn't about her flaws, this is how they could've made her better.

How I would have preferred to see Kairi?

Less fragile would be a first.
Perhaps give her more feminist ideals instead of constantly being the damsel in distress.

Less content to sit on the sidelines.

Actually continue her plotline? Give her importance.
As you said in your LJ, she's little more than a name. She can be replaced.

Character development would be a start.
She seems rather static. I'd much prefer it if she changed a bit over the course of the games. Other than physically, I don't feel as if there were many changes at all in her personality.

Give her some sort of ability to make her useful.
Or at least unique.
She's a PoH.
But that really isn't that grand, is it?
All it really did was help create a keyhole, a keyblade, and not create a Heartless.
