Eh, I think KH2FM was more entertaining. I certainly spent more time playing that game than Re:CoM. In fact, I don't believe I got far into Re:CoM at all. It's not really that great.

I meant the last KH title. and not KH2 i meant KH2FM+.

it isnt that good. KH2FM+ is better becuase no card system. And Limit Form is basically CoM in a nutshell. Ive never played either, so i wouldent know...

re:chain of memories seems to have more potential though. everything was remade in 3D. kingdom hearts ii: final mix... most of its content was from kingdom hearts ii.

if the rumors are true. they might as well release both of them ?

it would be nice, becuase all nomura would have to do is get new voice actors and replace the text in the speech bubbles(or remake the game? i dunno.) it would be nice if they would. I wonder why they wont release the FMs to the US?

EDIT: Many people want KHFM+ in US. People buy the games, the company gets money. If you dont give the people what they want, they wont give you what you want. And in Square's situation what they want is money. So bye not releasing them, they are only hurting themselves. Correct me on this and whatever.

I really wish they would release it here. Because being a KH freak and not being able to play it sucks and I really don't want a Japanese version of the game...

I know what you're trying to get across, but Nomura wouldn't do anything. His job is to make sure the game gets made. It's not up to him where the game goes, and he doesn't work on localizing it.

Secondly, they'd have to do way more than that. They'd have to ship it, advertise it, distribute it, among other things. And you act like translation and voice-acting aren't a costly and time-consuming affair by themselves.

Doesn't work that way.

Firstly, the number of people who want FM+ is probably much lower than what you imagine it is. I'm willing to bet you got that impression from places like KHI and other fansites and such. They aren't an accurate represantion of the people who buy the games by any means, they're not the majority. Most of the people who buy the games wouldn't spend time discussing theories and whatnot, places like KHI generally contain a more devoted and hardcore audience.

Secondly, the money issue is exactly the reason why they didn't release it here and why this news should be taken with a grain of salt. They simply wouldn't have much if at all. Japan is a pretty different market with different buying habits. Games are much more mainstream there. In the US they're taken on a more casual level. For that reason, Director's Cut games typically don't make it here unless they're from really popular franchises and even then only in some special cases.

It would be expensive to localize the game and most people wouldn't buy it because they wouldn't think it worth it, or because they have already imported.

It seems like a lot of people in the US want KHFM+, but not enough to make a profit if you think about it. Kingdom Hearts has been successful in North America, but it's not the highest-selling series at all. If you take into account that not every person who bought that game is going to spend an extra sixty dollars buying the director's cut, Square just wouldn't make much money off an international release.

It only feels like a lot of Americans want Final Mix+ because of all the complaints made by people on Kingdom Hearts fansites. The problem is, they don't speak for the rest of America, or even America's video game fans.

That being said, as much as I want to get Re:COM and I don't mean to sound pessimistic, I don't believe the article. I just think it's a little late to suddenly announce an international release when it came out in Japan last spring, and Square hasn't really mentioned it since. All they talk about is the three new games, and I think that's what they'll be focusing on from now until their releases.

^ yeah. screw the last post i did. And responding to what Leonard said: yeah it seemed really just like a side game. Not really important. kH2FM+ is better becuase of the card system and the battle system i like KH2FM+ better cuase u battle enemies on the spot, without going to some dumb battle screen. in KH2FM+ you can literally just run from the battle. in Re:CoM you gotta run against the wall til the escape thing loads.

Responding to Sorikux: yeah, my post isnt gonna be an influence on anything, lol. Thousands of people have made petitions and such and it hasnt made an influence at all. Well, not that i know of.
