And honestly, it's like hating Sora. People say, "Well, Roxas is emo, Sora isn't." Call it what you like, but if Sora was in that position, he'd act the same way... considering, you know, he IS Sora. And that is where there is hope. I'd imagine we'd be seeing more of that kind of Roxas in 358/2 days- that selfless, kind-hearted attitude. Which is why I think letting him into the limelight for a little is a good idea. We need to see how he was before we can fully appreciate his angst.

In any case, as Nomura said, Kingdom Hearts is Sora's story. After this, we'd be lucky (or unlucky) to see Roxas again.

Besides the fact that Nomura has hinted at Naminé's (and in turn Roxas') return.
And I was under the impression that that scene between Roxas and Axel happened after he was in the Org and had fused with Sora =/

Sorry, I didn't specify. That scene obviously was after he fused- but I'm talking about his change in attitude. He seems more at peace, and, consequently, we get to see his connection/interaction with Axel better.

How has he hinted at their return?

I saw it really as him saying it to Namine through Kairi.

The "hint" was about Sora's memories, as Nomura said. It implies that he remembers what happened in Castle Oblivion.

Really, there's nothing to say that they'll be coming back. One could argue about the appearance of Namine and Roxas in the ending, but all I saw that as is a message that they live on through Kairi and Sora, as they had talked about earlier.

lol. I'm being hopeful. But i can still see her returning someway. I think it would be lame for Sora to talk to Nami when it's just Kairi there... talk about an awkward situation. lolz.
Besides, Nomura likes Roxas too much to just let him slip away =/

I find Sora to be a lot more annoying than Roxas. At least Roxas has a reason to be angry and angsty sometimes - he wants to find himself, but no one will tell him. Sora is just an idiot. His only redeeming qualities are his gravity defying hair and the ability to weild the keyblade IMO. To me, the person that is never meant to be yet is is far more interesting as a character than the happy-go-lucky village idiot.
