Who is Dark Soldier (DS)?

Hmm, I believe it is one of those questions that is very hard to answer, mainly because of the lack of evidence to back up any theory on who the DS is.

Knowing on the height and how in all the scans/videos the DS is with Ven... Whoever it is, is linked to Ven in some way.

In all seriousness, I actually think it might be...Riku's dad. Sorry but it just seems logical. Maybe an older brother but someone related to Riku because the similar outfits, and same person.
I don't think its Xehanort though.

I agree with .Oji and Hades.
It seems incredibly likely in my opinion that Nomura would like to create another relationship/storyline like that of Riku and Sora. Though I also think it'll have a much different ending than what happened to our current heroes (Like, the Keyblade Warriors didn't prevail over the Darkness, which seems kinda evident in the Sunset Horizons Video)

i'd put my bet on xehanort.
there has to be some explanation as to how he turned up in radiant garden without any memories whatsoever, and this is the only way that i can see right now for to get it...

i believe its nothing more than xeahnort and he has found out how to split him self into nobody and heartless, but noes how to stay in control. then somone how or another (i dont' know excactly im just sayin) the overal goal is kingdomhearts wheather its using it for power, or protecting it idk. Ven has darkness in him, ( i remember seeing or hearing about it i think in that leak vid not sure) and i believe xeahnort does not want him to wierld a keyblade thus more ending ven in the kh2fm secret vid. maybe there is a penalty for killing a keyblade wielder/ master and it results in not loosing your life but being split up into heartless and nobody

Buit the fact that you said DS is Ven's heartless and Roxas is Ven's Nobody made complications because Roxas is Sora's Nobody and there were not Heartless/Nobodies then.

~ EXACTLY. just look at the way the ds is dressed. if i'm not mistaken, his outfit is very reminiscent of what riku wore while possessed by xehanort's heartless. i know that our sourses say that heartless and nobodies didn't exist then, but i think they were only non-existant in the game up to the point of the final battle w/ master xehanort. how exactly he would become sora's nobody is completely unknown to me, but i just think that, or something very similar is what's going to happen. i think there was at least one heartless and nobody at some point in the story. bearing all this in mind, i can't help but keep thinking that ven made some sort of drastic and terrible mistake.
