Yeah. I wonder why Xemnas would be speaking to a pile of armor. It might represnt Aqua I guess, I'm not sure.

Maybe Ansem was banished into the basement. Just a thought.

I think it was more of a realm than a basement. He was isolated for a long while, I'm sure he would've realized it was his own basement.

But in the Ansem report he said that he didn't know how Xehanort opened the door in his basement. It could have been a door to another realm. It's not the first time we've seem an opening to another realm in a basement. There was one in the alternate Twilight Town.
