Why Aqua Can't Be the 14th Member

Who IS she?
What IS her weapon?
From WHO did she came from?

Before you all say that she isn't a nobody remember that Xigbar is the recruiter... He wouldn't recruit someone who has a heart... Will be useless since the org is formed from those who "lack" a heart... Or maybe she was banned from the org due to she lied about "something"...?

That is actually a logical theory. Makes little sense though since I'm pretty sure Zexion would've 'smelled' her Heart.

Zexion can 'smell' things. Who's to say he can't smell her 'Heart'? Also, he's a conspiring little guy. Who's to say he didn't just bid his time with her to see how far she'd go (say, with taunting Roxas) and then it backfired?

Well, DiZ did as much in a way. I think they'd do more than just 'kick her out' once they found out the truth, though.

That is a high possibility. Maybe she "wanted to ask questions to Xemnas on why he changed" and had a piece of armor to protect her identity.

Wrong. Xigbar is one of the recruiters. Here is a snippet of a FM scene to prove my point, it easily mentions 3 people that assisted in recruiting.

I also should point out that Xemnas was the one who found and recruited Roxas. And the fact that Xemnas is the one who tells the others that a new member has joined would imply that he found and recruited her. And who's to say Xemnas wouldn't recruit someone with a heart? (But i'm not going to bring that up because everyone gets touchy).

Hey everyone, here's something to consider. Just because V.A.T disappeared at the end of BBS doesn't mean they had to have died or what have you. Aqua could have disappeared, and then later down the road (a year or two at the least) turned into a Nobody. Just something to ponder.

in BBS, true, there weren't Heartless nor Nobodies... but Aqua wasn't a Nobody in BBS. Remember Days is quite a while afterwards - over a decade later! More than enough time for someone desperately looking for a dear friend to lose her Heart on the way and eventually end up in the Organization.
Heck, I wouldn't put it beyond her to willingly turn into a Nobody so she'd be able to join the Organization where the Ven-lookalike (Roxas) was.
Seeing how she took the Way to Dawn in the secret ending, I'd say Aqua fills Riku's role. That means - self blame, guilt and hatred, and the willingness to go to any and all lengths for the person she's feeling guilty towards.
Riku did that for Sora in KH2; Ven just about [spoiler]dies in the secret ending, and in Aqua's arms to boot.[/spoiler] More than enough reasons for her to look for him in Roxas.

To strengthen this point - Sora and Terra (who picked up the KK in the Secret Ending, I believe) share as well a similar concept - Sora is the Keybearer of Light, and yet he has an Anti form and is willing to become the Darkness with Riku as long as it means the Realm of Light and his friends are all safe;
Terra speaks, in the leaked trailer, [spoiler]of using even Darkness as long as it means protecting his friends,
Even at the cost of him "Mastering" The Keyblade[/spoiler]

It does make me wonder, however, how Ven fits in, seeing how he's supposed to be either Kairi (as the Sora-Riku-Kairi triangle) or Mickey (seeing how he picked the Reversed Blade, I believe, correct me if I'm mistaken)

I agree with the majority of this, other then Ven is the one to take the WtD in the secret ending. And that ending isn't considered canon anymore really, it was more concept just to show their connection with S/R/K. And I don't think you need to use spoiler tags anymore xD.

Beh, had the Keyblades mixed up XD thanks for the corrections.
Anyways, the Keyblades mismatch. Which more than makes me think something is messed up in the relations there and even more tells that things aren't the way they seem.
Especially Aqua picking up the IKK - the Keyblade that came from the Realm of Darkness, while Kairi is a PoH.
Even if it was just a concept, I'd like for Nomura to keep to his own ideas for once XD;

From what I can tell she is really important to Xehanort, more so to his Nobody. She was something so important, no-one could know of her...a Nobody being used as a weapon...or maybe the Nobody, or person herself, that Xehanort loved...

It would make sense in light of all the theories running around about Xemnas (and the Xehanort he originated from) being related in a way to Terra
