Maybe, but I've notice that those Heartless in Land of Dragons that wear purple, I don't remember their names, but I've never seen an emblem on them.

I dont think they can shapeshift ... maybe in the next kh they'll make a boss that can ...

i once thought that the heartless had ranks. from shadow (lowest and most commen) to darksides (highest and least commen). the bosses that we've seen are in middle or almost darksides.
and this can be a link. couse i think now that that heartless was evolving to a higher rank.
