This is an old theory I posted about six monthes ago, but unforunately, I posted it late new years eve, so not many people got to read it. In light of more information being released, I'd like to know what you people think of it.

Part One- Coded to 358/2 Days


In Coded, the premise of the game is to discover the meaning of a phrase written in Jiminy's journal.
"You must come back to heal their pain"

In 358/2 Days, a 14th member is shown to have once existed in the Organization. However, in Kingdom Hearts 2, no mention of this character is ever made. If they had died, wouldn't they have received a grave in Proof Of Existence, like the other members of the Organization? Perhaps she hadn't received that 'honor'? I'd only assume that she had done something to be terminated from the Organization. The only thing I can't think of that would cause that is betrayal of some kind.

Now a poor attempt to link the two games together, due to the fact there aren't a great amount of links between Coded and 358/2 days, I think.

Who ever wrote that phrase in Jiminy's Journal I can only assume to have happened after the events of COM. I can't think of another plausible time when someone would have had the opportunity to write that in the journal without it being known how it got there. Incidentally, it is after COM when the 14th member is added and terminated.

So theory: the 14th member was the one who wrote that line in Jiminy's Journal. Since to have been able to get that close to Jiminy, and Sora along with him, the person would have to be an accomplice of Riku, DiZ or Namine in someway, I'd assume. Obviously if the Organization were to learn of an association between a member of their own, and DiZ, one of their most formidable enemies, I could only assume they'd remove her from the Organization and kill her shortly afterwards. Thats a bit iffy, yes, but it's the only thing I could think of.

Major flaw I noticed in my own theory: If it was written after the events of COM, why would Coded begin in KH1?


Part Two-Further expansion to include BBS

Don't hate me for saying this, but lets just say for my theory's sake that the 14th member is in fact Aqua. ~cringes out of fear of getting hit~

That might help shed light on the quote.

Who is their? Well, if it was in fact written by Aqua, I could only assume she'd mean Ven and Terra. What exactly would be the 'pain'? Well, another thing I find safe to assume would be that in the ending trailer to KH2/FM that the three knights lost that battle. We saw something happen to Terra, though we aren't completely sure yet, and Ven was in a horrible condition when we last saw him. Aqua was the only one, as far as we could tell, to make it out of the battle unscathed. So I don't think it would be too big a leap, if Aqua did write the line, that it could not have to do with the events from BBS.


Major Flaw: It seems like I'm giving far too much involvement in the story to Aqua, a relatively unknown character.


Part 3-Even further expansion to include more about Ven.

Who is she telling to come back?

Well, on several threads I have seen the speculation of how Ven's heart may reside in Sora, which would explain the similarities between Roxas and Ven.

If that rumor is somehow pertaining to Ven, and she was hoping for him to be released from Sora..
Grr.
This is where my theory gets incredibly iffy.

Major Flaw overall: Theres like ten thousand ifs and perhaps two of them are even plausible.


This is just some very broken theory of mine, so please tear it apart.

hmm, well we KNOW there is a 14th member, and she didn't get a grave, but marluxia betrayed the organization as well, and he got a grave... maybe hers (it's been confirmed a her right?) was much MUCH worse? o.o

Yeah it is a her.
As for how they'd even find out Marluxia betrayed the organization...the only people who would be able to report Marluxia's betrayal were killed, except for Axel. And he might not have told what had happened there, because if he had, he'd probably have been labeled a traitor too.
I don't know. It could also be that was the 14th member did was more severe.
Also, the 14th member was fairly new. Perhaps there wasn't enough time for a grave to be built when she was already found to have betrayed them.

I know. Alot of speculation.
Like, alot alot.
But thats all we can really do at this point.

About the "major" flaw in your first theory: Doesn't coded take place after KH2? I'm pretty sure it just revisits the events in KH1 in a new light, so your theory is still valid.

Lol. Someone pointed that out the first time I posted this. I meant the events that it revisits are in KH1 so it wouldn't make much sense if it wasn't written around the time of Com or Sora's hibernation

If it was written after KH1, why would they go through kh1 events looking for clues? thats why its a flaw

Irrelevant.
That eye color just means they messed around with the darkness too much.
And the skin color, nothing was that special about it. I don't even think it was the same color. Especially since Ansem SOD, Xemnas and Xehanort have different shades of skin color, I believe.

AsYrsGoBy said that a Major flaw was that coded began in KH1. It did, but it seems that coded would take place in a time after KH2. When hey go back to the castle, and sora goes back to destiny islands. Jiminy Cricket seemed like he was transported into a digitalized past, that seems like it fits the "You must come back to heal their pain"

BOLDED LETTERS: it seems to fit in with the returning to KH1 part. But we still dont know who wrote it in Jiminy's Journal. If it were before KH2, Jiminy Would of Noticed it when he read the message that said "Thank Namine" becuase he checked his journal.
