Hello everybody, it's been a while since i've been on so sorry if this has been mentioned. Here is my theory on who the Ds is. What if he is Xehanort, but younger? Ansems Report said he found him but he had no memory, so what if he took Mx's name and used it? What do you think?

my theory exactly. i mean the xehanort that we know convinced himself that he was ansem(that's why his heartless took the name ansem and his nobody, xemnas) so it's possible that he stole another name before he stole ansems and he just doesn't remember, and considering he was knocked out with no memeries, how did he remember his name

Xemnas remembers his time as Xehanort. And as for the name, it was more like:

Xehanort: You're in my way bitch [PWNED]
Ansem: ZOMG, I'm such a no0b. [bitch'd]
Xehanort: Now, run your name. BAWLZ, I am AMZEMZZ!

Xemnas: No, I'm Aznsmez
Riku: No, I'm Ansem and so is my clone.
DiZ: I'm the real Ansem
TLS: Xehanort?

Actually, Xehanort wrote under the name of Ansem... His heartless awoke to find the reports he had written under Ansem's name and assumed his name was Ansem...

well he still tricked himself into thinking he was ansem so it's possible that it may have already happened before with him tricking himself into a different name

He never tricked himself... He simply wrote under Ansem's name... Otherwise, Xemnas would had thought his real name was Ansem instead of Xehanort...

No, Xemnas knew his name was Xehanort... Which is why he said "How long has it been since I abandoned that name?" when Mickey called him Xehanort... What Xemnas is saying, is that he abandoned the name Xehanort when he became a nobody, changing it to Xemnas...

This is because of the fact that nobodies actually have memories of their past selves in comparison to their heartless brethren. Of course Xemnas cant remember anything before his memory loss as Xehanort which is understandable.

Here's how it is: Xehanort, the guy who banished Ansem and took his name, has all his memories of the time he spent in Radiant Garden as a student of Ansem. He doesn't have any memories of the time before he came to Radient Garden.

But, if the DS is Xehanort, what about MX? Than wouldn't they be the same person?

I don't know. I'm confuzzled.
