With the little information we have until now, it could be just about everything that starts with Ven-.

And did we really agree on Ventus last time? I thought that was disproven by someone at one time. >_>

OK, Sora means Air/Wind. Sora is connected to Ven as seen by the concept video. Ventus is the god of air/wind in latin. So, Ven's full name being Ventus is probably as close as we have gotten to Ven's real name.

i believe that ven's real name is ventus in english however his name may be longer in japanese. i think that's what nomura meant by ven's name being longer because his name is going to have japanese letters. the interview was originally in japanese but translated.

just like roxas. it's plainly roxas in english but his name in japanese is rokusasu.
