hold on, there must be a connection in someway...here's a thought i just had while reading every post about this thread so far, when Ven tells whoever he was talking to on destiny island to "erase him", what if apart of him was put into Sora. I mean can any1 think about this for one second...we all know Sora, Roxas and Ven are connected in someway. Obviously this connection started out with Ven because we are now ten years into the past. I know Riku was supposed to be the original Keyblade master but what if Ven had something to do with Sora being chosen to recieving a keyblade

Maybe Ven didn't want Riku to be keyblade master because he knew Rikus heart could easialy give in to the drakness so he tried to make sora the keyblade master.

So are you sayiing that Ven had himself erased and put into sora out of nobility so that a dark heart wouldnt get the keyblade. So that means that well i think the erasing thing may hav to do with namine maybe when like in KH2 when she erased sora's memories roxas was able to come out and when she gained them bac roxas was back inside sora

heres what i think, i think Ven and Roxas are one and the same person. I feel as though the keyblade master Ven had someone put(erased) his spiritinto Sora, how? I don't know, The only question i am asking myself right now is if Roxas was a nobody then who or what was Ven??? In the new trailer, Master Xehanhort tells Ven that he was "losing control"...control of what, his mind, his spirit. I don't think Ven wants whoever to erase him because he was scared of a dark heart. I think there is a much more bigger meaning behind all this than that. But the fact still remains to me that Roxas and Ven are one and the same and maybe Ven didn't know his memories of his past or who he was and took the name of Roxas in KH2. I feel as though whenever KH3 decides to come into play. I thnk we will see Ven/Roxas come back but as a whole being rather than a "nobody" and some kind of spirit that lies inside of Sora.

Nomura: That part is also a bit vague. In the Destiny Islands when Riku is swallowed by the darkness, there's a sparkle of light, and next comes the scene where Sora first gets the Keyblade, right? In my setting, the darkness wrapping itself around those two is the darkness of Riku's heart. At the moment when Sora enters that darkness, the light you can see is the light of the heart. Sora, trying to help Riku, struggling in the darkness, touches that light and temporarily the Keyblade goes to Sora.

Thats is a a reveiw taken off this website btw. So it seems yes Riku was suppose to get the Keyblade, But he choses darkness over light or something, Sora tries to Save him, so the keyblade decides to go with Sora.. What i DONT like about this reveiw, is why Nomura said, "Temporarily" .

but i still have a feeling that Ven had something to do with Sora getting that keyblade...remember...Nomura says one thing to us the fans and then switches it around on us at the last second. I mean i understand the whole light and darkness thing between Riku and Sora but at the same time, when i am watching a new trailer with a main character such as Ven telling someone who im assuming is his friend to erase him on DESTINY FREAKIN ISLANDS i have to assume that plays a role with Sora and this whole ordeal.
