i have played kingdom hearts and kh2 and chain of memories over and over and over again and read different threads and have taken a ton of notes about things that might relate to the future of kingdom hearts and here r just some things ive stumbled upon.

The first thing has to do about Terra, Ven, and Aqua being related to the trio in the previous games. first off, i read on this one site (i will try to post the URL if i can find it again) and this is before they gave names, but they said that one of the two males was kairis dad, and the other was soras dad. and the girl was rikus mom. now i dont believe that cause of recent news on khinside, which i appreciate very much btw. but thats just one thing. but now i know that thats not true.

And based on the news now, i stumbled across something very intriguing as i was playing the original kingdom hearts again last week. there was a cutscene at the very beginning of the game, before u r able to get off destiny islands, and in the cutscene, kairi is talking to an old lady. the old lady was talking about the light that lies beyond the door and stuff. the old ladies name was aqua.

another thing on that topic is something i read in a thread just today. kairi means ocean and aqua means water. i had a theory that got kinda out of hand a bit, but what if kairi's home land before she washed up on shore at destiny islands was a huge like water based place. not so much like under the sea or anything, but like maybe a place where water is sacred or something. idk just a thought. probably not even close to what is right, but fun to think about.

idk, just talk to me about what u think. i love the mysteries that kingdom hearts have given us. its fun and i love the games. but yea just talk to me.

Again, wrong. Kairi's original home was Hollow Bastion

Like Doortolight024 said, it's Kairi's grandmother... Also, Aqua is only in her teens, twenties at the absolute most... BBS is ten years before KH1... BBS also took place one year before that scene, which would mean Aqua would have to age insanely fast...

Finally, there is the fact that we see Kairi in Hollow Bastion talking to her grandmother before Xehanort sent her to DI...

that does not fit with your theory at all! we know the old-woman is, in fact, kairi's grandma. you said before that aqua is riku's mother! this does not much the ageline but also we know that riku and kairi are not relatives so...

Well haven't people been going on about the age of Xehanort? It could be possible that time is a feature in the game...

^ No. Besides, she's Kairi's grandmother. Not only would she have to age insanely fast, she'd have to have a kid who would also age insanely fast, and have Kairi, who is about four years old at the time. Sure, she could be adopted, but it's still pretty far-fetched.

I agree, it's fun to speculate about the upcoming KH games. May I offer you some tips about theorizing?

1. Read the Ansem Reports from KH1, and the Secret Ansem Reports from KH2. They offer a lot of backstory about the creation of Heartless, Nobodies, Organization XIII, etc. I've found that they can be quite useful in backing up or critiquing theories. Also, if you find an interview with Nomura (just look through the KHInside Archives) read it. He answers a lot of questions that you wouldn't normally learn by playing the games, such as what happens to Nobodies after they fade.

2. Try not to back your claims with other theories or rumors, because the people who came up with them might not be right. Use evidence from the games/Ansem reports/Nomura interviews.

3. But do read other people's theories, so you know that you're not repeating an idea.

I don't know why, but the whole part about Ven, Aqua, and Terra being the parents of Sora, Riku, and kairi just doesn't make sense to me. As OC said, the BbS takes place 10 years before KH1. In KH1, Sora and Kairi were 14, and Riku was 15. Time is an extremely valuable factor in speculating. That whole entire part just didn't make any sense to me.

Terra means earth and Riku means land (I think), so there must be some kind of relationship between the three characters of the past and the trio of the future but I highly doubt any of them are related.
