Involves FF8

First off, I have never played the game, so I may have some stuff wrong. And this has probably been posted before.

Second, I don't attatch myself to particular theories. So while I am using another theory in here, I don't particularly endorse it.

In FF8, for a sorceress to move on, they have to pass their power onto a successor.

There are things in the KH2 FM+ that hint Terra turns into Xehanort. In the leaked BBS trailer, Terra remarks that he doesn't want some kind of power.

What if Xehanort is more of a title that the previous ones must pass down. MX tried to raise Terra as his successor and succeeded. Terra (the new Xehanort who is in KH1 and 2) split and tried to pass it on to Riku. Riku broke the cycle by managing to lose the power.

Anyway, what do you think.

I don't think that it's not possible. I actually thought of this a while ago. It was in a facfic though. Strangers and the Golden land. I eventually had to cancel it, but nice going.

If so then Xehanort has a meaning,like supreme wielder or almighty magician,etc.

And so MX being one of the Xehanorts and there have been may more before him.

I guess that's why he's called Master Xehanort, because he was the most noteworthy Xehanort, or because he was the current Xehanort at that time.

if u take out the x in xehanort and move letters around it says "no heart"(y'all probly kno dat already...if not its cool). well any way that could be a title or somthin right

Not quite. In mine, it's a title and power that is being passed down (or the ability to use the power) while in yours it is the same spirit possessing different people.

Its a quite interesting theory, Xehanort being merely more than a title than a name, so MX passes the title to Terra (which I do believe will be Xehanort some how in BBS ending) and passes down to Riku yet fails. Then who becomes the next Xehanort? If Riku doesn't become Xehanort, what about Sora?

~ i think you're on to something. to tell you the truth, i was thinkin of somethin exactly like this and i think you're definitely close to the actual answer. DUDE! the closer to E3 we get, the better the theories!

The Title has some power behind it. I think the sorceresses were the same way. That while they picked their successor and called them sorceresses. They also gave them power to go with the title.

Again, never played the game so I wouldn't know.

And, if Disney went twisted, maybe Mickey? He was in the dark realm too.

Possible.

Similar to the idea that DS is the real Xehanort, and he just went from possessing MX (real name unknown), to Terra (turning him into apprentice Xehanort).
