If Terra is related to Sora, its only by some kind of connection with the keyblade, not family.

Riku doesn't have a nobody. Terra=/=Riku. He never lost his heart to darkness.
Also, BBS=10 years before KH1.
EDIT: Damn, beaten to the punch.

So many problems with that.
That means Riku must have gone like 10 years into the past, got a Heartless, got turned back into human, and came back to the present in time to be able to have that sword fight on the beach for Terra to see.
^ I highly doubt a five year old Riku could make a time machine.
Case closed, TERRA IS NOT RIKU'S NOBODY.
I don't believe that Terra and Sora are related.
Family has NEVER been important in Square Enix's works, apart from Yuna - Braska, and Tidus - Jecht, that was once, I doubt it's ever gonna happen again.

Cousin: Nobody can prove you wrong, but making him a distant relative like that to Sora would be absolutely unnecessary and lame. There are better ways to make a connection to him.
Grandfather: No, too young.
Father: No, Sora's mother would have had a more significant role to the series as a voice calling her son for dinner at the beginning of the first game.
