The voice in Kh1, who is it?

Eh, I thought it was the King because in one of the KH Manga, it has the King and "The Voice" with the same font. But whatever.

Hmm... well I'd like to speculate that it was the master. But to be honest the way Tetsuya completely dropped the concept of "the voice" in KH2 gives me the feeling that we're never going to find out.

It may as well be Sora's dog, since it hasn't been revealed yet.

I'm also changing my previous assumption over to Pooh. Pooh is a very sneaky bear, and was messing with Sora's mind from the beginning.
You see, there was this huge conspiracy started by Pooh, because when Sora was young, he stuck fireworks up a Pooh Plush's rear end, and 'sploded him. Pooh was very offended, and decided he must get revenge. And so he decided to get it by messing with Sora to get him to go on a "perilous" journey in an attempt to get him killed. It didn't work.

It can be said that it was not the King, because in his letter he talks about someone with a key, he never mentioned anything about a keyblade, nor the wielder's name. If he indeed was the voice, he would've known such facts to list them down.

Since Sora didn't have the keyblade till later on, I can probably say that it wasn't the keyblade talking either. That would probably leave Sora's heart or Kingdom Hearts being the voice, but maybe more likely Kingdom Hearts, because if it's supposed to be the heart of everything, that might mean it has some control over people's hearts when needed.

This could lead it to drag Sora into a dream of sorts to help prepare him for the fate that awaited him, you never know.

I doubt that it was a dropped idea... But so was the Option to summon Bahamut in KH1.. the fm version doesn't have this. the only other ppl we haven't mentioned is soras mother.. sense she is not seen but only heard. I strongly think that it could be Kingdom hearts. Like a cry for help in a calm way... (lol like that made any sense :toungesmile: )anyways, its just seems a little , i don't know, like an easter egg? maybe? i am so clueless..

Well at the end of KH2, riku said sora's heart opened the door to light, and in the beginning of the KH1 no one knew sora (except maybe those from the past) and he didn't have the keyblade yet, so maybe it was his heart talking to him. This also reminds me of what Ansem the Wise said when he damaged Xemnas' Kingdom hearts, about how his heart was telling him what to do, and he is going to listen to it.

Thats my theory.

i thought the voice was XH because he knew that he could interfear with soras destiny by giving him the keyblade that was meant for riku, thus making riku fall into evil and making him controllable by XH

That is wrong for so many reasons. The main one that I'd like to point out is that heartless cannot give out the keyblade. They have no power or influence over it at all.

The keyblade was supposed to go to Riku originally; however, Riku went to darkness by his own choice. And afterwards, the keyblade found him unworthy to wield it and went to Sora instead.
