At first, I kind of thought it was Mickey, but now I think it's actually the voice of the keyblade. I think all keyblades have a voice that only the wielder/master can hear and, considering that the thing is quite mysterious, it sounds pretty possible to me.

Still. It aint mickey. Mickey isnt that tall. and its not terra. Terra was 10 years before. I dont know exactly. Its possibly ansem. But i really dont care. kingdom hearts sorta bores me now. Why am i on this site? becuase its fun posting. even if it is about KH. And JakeH what do u have against me? Why am i asking theses questions? i want to see if anyone has answers. Even nthough i already know them. Square root of 144=12.

Well Venn, you somehow missed what the OP was getting at.
Where on Earth did you get the idea that he was talking about the 'Mysterious Man' from Final Mix? Just for the record the MM is Xemnas.


And to OP, I believed that it was either a 'higher being' or the sentient Keyblade. I suppose it could also be KH itself.


Nomura made sure that this voice didn't have a voice actor so he could leave it intentionally ambiguous. It either is a scrapped idea at this point (doubt it), or it will have signoficance in some later game ( most likely BbS or 358\2 Days).

I was so curious on who the voice is... at the very beginning and the end of kh1 the voice is active. (anyone know if it says anything in fm?) but then it doesn't appear until the end of kh2 ( does anyone know also if it appears in COM?) I didn't know what to think of the voice.. the fact that the voice talks to roxas as well.. (i think) in KH2 (which means i was mistaken and that it doesn't appear in the beggining of the game)the voice hardly appears.. So i either think that if could be mickey (which seems weird sense the whole time in Kh1 He sends Goofy and Donald to find the Keyblade master) or the Keyblade itself. which makes more sense sense it talks to only roxas and sora.. both key blade bearers.. so yeah... but there isn't an actual voice being heard.. just text.. which also seems odd. and as soon as sora gets the keyblade the voice echoes the word key blade over and over again.. which is the last time (i believe) we hear from it until the end of the game at the final rest. tehn roxas has his turn.. and thats about it until the very end of kh2 at the end of the clip thats after the credits.. and it still keeps talking about opening a door to the light.. every time.. so.. it could be the keyblade .. but now that i think about it..it could be kingdom hearts itself? I thought of a more feminine voice for the voice maybe its aqua? but i am so debated on the subject..

Nowi in the station of Awakening, Sora is dreaming, so whos to say that the voice is even real at all?

but that would be the easy boring awnser. = )

All of thises things are plausable, beacuse there is nothing outhere yet to dinouce them yet, I personally think that its NOT XEMNAS obviusly, but I do think it was a dream, Sora makes no freferance to the voice at all throughout the rest of the series.

But do any of you remember if Roxas encountered the same voice in KH2?

The voice not only appeared in his dream, but in two other scenes. One of them occurred when Sora was about to open the door to start the battles with Xehanort's heartless. The other time the voice spoke was when Sora, Donald, and Goofy were chasing Pluto down the long road at the end of the game. So we can't say that the voice is fake.
I believe that most of the theories already stated are possible.

OK ok ok ok ok ok. I am sick and tired of you my good friend.

now why do you think it's Xemnas... let's review the possibilities... Because Xemnas has no voice actor and neither does "the voice"? In this case... you completely fail. The voice was trying to aid Sora in opening the door to light and completing his quest. Yes Xemnas would want Sora trained up to free hearts with the keyblade, but Sora opening the door to light does not help Xemnas in any way.

Another reason I think you might think it was Xemnas.... you're completely confused as to what vioce we're talking about. Just to clue you in in this case, we're talking about the voice that gives Sora advice when you first start a new game. Not the dismbodied cloak that appears when you are near the Keyhole in Destiny Islands and NOT the black coated figure whom we know as Xemnas.

If you have any other reasons for believing its Xemnas feel free to post them, I doubt I'll have much trouble shooting them down
