Who likes KH2 more than the origanal KH?

I liked the game play of KH2 (not drives etc.) better. It was just more fun to do combos with the finishing things on them.
The story of KH1 was better. It wasn't a confusing mess. Well, actually...

No i Think that both games are awesome i like story based games and both have a good story about friends and giving so much to save them. its a nice game and both wont be good without the other beceuase no one would of thought about how good KH1 was if KH2 hadnt came out. so both games are the best for me.

I liked KH2 better, I thought it had a more solid plot than the first, because the first was so childish, however i loved it, but the whole 7 princesses and stuff, I love the organization as well, besides really their plots are one in the same, if you pay attention to the details in KH1 the plot for 2 is very obvious, and the gameplay is a lot more cinematic and fast paced, and if you need a challenge get final mix + its a lot more diffucult and his adds more depth, Beating the Computer Organization and Terra is freaking CRAZY but it was so fun doing it

The gameplay for KH2 was WAAAYYYY better and more fast-paced. I agree that KH1 had somewhat of a better story, but it isn't really complete without the second one. I LOVED the characters from the second one. I can't wait for the story to continue.

I know you can't really tell which one I like more. That's because they are equal in my eyes.

Well, Kairi I've been wanting to answer a question like this for a while now so thank u for bringing it up. KH2 was a lot of fun but KH1 is a true classic. The sequel is a good video game, not dissapointing in the least but it certainly liked the drama, beautiful and rich plot, creativity and perfect character development of the first game. KH was not just a game, but a masterpiece in terms of story and soundtrack.
P.S. I Think Kairi grew up way too fast, i mean can a girl really change that much in a year??? And Haley sounds more dramatic in KH and a little too childish in KH2, maybe because there was less stress on Sora i guess, i dunno. But i still love the franchise, i hope Tetsuya really puts his "heart" into the next instalment.

^well actually, some girls in puberty can change really fast. My friends little sister for example. The last time I saw her was one year ago when she was 13 years old and she looked like a little kid. I just saw a recent picture of her and she really looks like a teenager now.. She has changed a lot in one year.

I enjoyed Kingdom Hearts 2 the most, there were more moves and combo's in KH2 in KH1 if i went to do a combo all he would do is swing the keybalde which annoyed me in number 2 he did more things with the keyblade. =]
The story Line of Kh2 was much better and the graphics wre greatly improved =] so .. over all KH2

I didn't like Kingdom Hearts 2 as much as I liked the first Kingdom Hearts game. The nobody-foshizzle wasn't that great to be honest. The first game gave me a much better feeling, the second game was just a lot of fanservice. I did like the characters in Kingdom Hearts 2 more than in Kingdom Hearts though!

It's just that, before the game came out, there were a lot of theories and I was like "OMG THIS GAME IS GOING TO BE SO AWESOME, WHO ARE THOSE BLACK HOODED GUYS AND OMG SECRET MOVIE SO AWESOME LOOK AT THEM RUNNING UP THAT BUILDING, IT LOOKS SO DARK AND SCARY LOLOLOL AND WHO IS THE BLOND HAIRED KID ZOOOMG".

But when Kingdom Hearts 2 did came out, it wasn't as ZOMG AWESOME I had thought it would be! It was also too easy and the plot could have been muuuuch better. The music and extra things like Drive and such things were really great though. Oh and Axel and Roxas, I love those two hahah.

In storyline H1 is better and in combat KHII is better.
KHII: An army of heartless are a menace to all worlds while an organization steals hearts, what a mix up. Bu KHII is better.

call me an idiot is you want but i personally didn't like kh1 as much for some reason it didn't have the same magic as kh2 which is possibly the best game i have ever played, you can tell i played kh2 first probably

Well, Its a touchy subject. Because everyone agrees that KH1 was and is a classic. But KH2 brought so much more into the scene. Its really hard to chose between the two.
But if I had to, call me crazy but I chose KH1.

KH1s story was straight to the point and left no real room for questions because everything was explained. i liked 2 more because it left alot more to think about and because the true don mega was introduced in it.

Yeah, well, um, no. KH1 on Normal is like KHII on Proud. KHII on Beginner is like the 3 kid fights on Destiny Islands. The story was okay, I suppose... The characters, not so much. Sora lost about 50 IQ points, if not more. The Drive Forms made everything way to easy, as did the reaction commands... The new camera system was quite nice, though. They lost some of the best worlds, and replaced them with lame ones... If they had made it all one trip to the worlds instead of two, that would have been nice, too, since they were so short. Basically, yeah, it does fix some problems with KH1, but it made so many more, I'd rather they stayed with the original formula...
