1) it owned by sony
2) because the game is a like a 2010 release its most likely on blue ray and 360 doesn't have blue ray
3) Its one of sony's number one sellers in the world so they are not going to give it up easily
4) 360 cant handle the graphics that the game will have
5) Square quix is not an idiot to hive it to Microsoft

1) sony owns the ps3, not the KH franchise
2) 360 will have blue ray by 2010
3) they can fight as hard as EA fought for Take-Two, doesn't mean they'll get what they want

Completely false. The Kingdom Hearts franchise is owned by Disney, and its games are developed by Square-Enix, who is a third-party developer, and thusly indepedent.

Sony holds no ownership over the franchise, Disney, or Square-Enix whatsoever, as is proved by CoM and 358/2.

How can you even know? The moment SE decides the platform, this by itself will decide the media it will use. They haven't.

Blu-Ray is an irrelevant factor anyway. KH does not need it, and would do well without it.

They gave up GTA4 as an exclusive without much of a fight, and GTA, whatever you may think, sells far more and is much more mainstream than Kingdom Hearts.

Furthermore, there would not be much that Sony could do about it, if anything at all. Even if they did, it wouldn't mean they'd get what they want.

Ludicrous. You don't know what kind of graphics the game will have, those will be decided by the console and SE, and they haven't decided on which one they want, or at least have not said so.

Why would this be idiotic? It could very well end up very profitable, not as an exclusive perhaps, but as a multiplatform.

1) COMPLETELY incorrect. KH is owned by Disney and developed by Square Enix.
2) 360 most likely will be blu-ray supportive in the coming years.
3) It's not one of Sony's number one sellers, because it's not owned by Sony. There are games that COMPLETELY BLOW KH OUT OF THE WATER.
4) The 360's GPU is STRONGER than the PS3's GPU.
5) Nintendo has the best selling next gen console in the WORLD, and Microsoft has the second best selling next-gen console in the world. Putting a KH title on Wii or 360 ain't idiotic. It's a VERY smart move.

So, in short, your post epically fails.

Yes. Indeed we do. It will be on multiple platforms, for instance:

1. Common sense. KHI is a website about KH that displays news. You shouldn't be asking about it on a news website's forum.

These threads are actually getting kind of disturbing. We've got three new marvelous games coming out and so many people just wanna see Sora.....I'm surprised his, er - mental capacity didn't turn them off in KH2. Hope Namine fixes that...

The consoles are still kind of "new" now, but by the time KH3 comes out, PS2, X-Box, etc. will all be forgotten. Gameboy and Gamecube are already going down that line; in fact, I think Gamecube's been cancelled. You see, Nomura still has to finish BBS first, probably around next year, and then Final Fantasy Versus XIII.

I actually tried to imagine how playing KH on Wii would be, and I thought it would be dumb. But then I caught a shower, and REALLY thought about it. Imagine leying as Mickey during the 1000 heartless battle..

I think KH on Wii would be a nice break from the Playstation controllers. I don't have a Wii, but from my adventure gaming experience I know that interactivity = massive win!

Now I'm going to do something I haven't done in a while - formed my own opinion.

I think Square-Enix would do best doing a multi-platform for the Wii and PS3. 360 would be optional, but it certainly wouldn't be a bad choice and, as Hades said earlier, they do want to look at overseas popularity nowadays.

If it was just on the PS3 only, fans like me would have to buy a PS3, an upgraded version of the PS2 just to play some new game. Sure the graphics would be better, but those who own a Wii will have to spend even more money to buy another console!

If it was for Wii only, sure the graphics would suck, but those who bought a PS3 would also have to buy another console. It would, however, be something new, and easier on the (however you spell what Jiminy is to Pinnochio) to make a purchase.

Still...

I have neither of these consoles, and in fact I don't even have a 360, but if it was multi-platform for just the main two, I'd buy it on Wii, and then the fans who have PS3 wouldn't have to spend any more money.

By "suck", I meant not on par with PS3 as you said. It's amazing how much PS3's capabilities have stepped up from PS2's. I guess I should've been more clear on that.
