Anyone brought up Gilgamesh yet? I would like to see him in a KH game. He amuses me.

NOO Kadaj and his gang need to be an anti-gullwing group. Little flying evil gullwings looking characters and they get into fights with eachother whenver they meet. Kadaj being all *swishes hair* I'm beautiful type character XD I'd love to see them and the Gullwings go at it.

Umm secret boss. I can understand both viewpoints. Fighting giant heartless can be pretty lame at times, and seeing ANOTHER VII character would be pretty old *unless it's RENO XD and he meets Axel and they just point at eachother and are all like o_O WTF*

I would like to see another FF character as a secret boss...maybe a hero, but after the battle is over he becomes good again and awards you with an item *accessory or keyblade* Maybe an evil Balthier and he gives you a classy earring XD <--nahh, I don't know.

Yes, Secret Bosses could have been so much more well done in KH2. And you can't really count the Terra battle in Final Mix, there was so much hype and info going around about it that it was anything but secret.

Yes, the Sephi battle for a secret boss was handle like the abomination to secret bosses it is.

Only about every fourth post in every one of these threads. Otherwise, no, Gilgamesh really doesn't come up.

Not so much this as the fact that the battle wasn't conventionally availablet to audiences outside Japan.

It wasn't meant to be a secret battle, it was meant as product placement for Advent Children. Sephiroth is second only to Will Smith now.

^Not really. I wasn't criticising you, I was just answering you by saying it has been a common idea around here.

Oh. That's okay then.

Why did they cast the voice of Bender as Gilgamesh in FF XII? It's really hard to take him seriously. Oh, wait, I never took him seriously.

^I never really took any part of the game seriously, so by the time I found out about Gilgamesh's voice I wasn't really concerned. Although I never actually faced him myself, because the fact that simply beating the game requires 114 hours of mindless, pointless, boring monster grinding meant that I wasn't really about to do what it takes to complete the game's more advanced side quests.

So long as it's not Dustin Hoffman, Jack Black, or Robin Williams doing the voice, I'm more or less fine with whoever they cast.

I'd like to see Mr. T cast as the voice of Gilgamesh in whatever FF instalment he appears in next.

Also, I agree with the time consuming thing. I've stopped playing the game countless times then coming back to it about a month and a half later, simply because levelling up for 5 hours only to find you have to do the same with the other half of the party, and then you still don't have a high enough level isn't my idea of fun.

Then 3 days later of constant playing, you play through about 2 hours of story and then what happens? You have to level up to level 1,926,293 to do even the simplest hunt available.

Damn you SE, damn you and your obsession with big numbers >:(

Gilgamesh doesn't even make sense >_> Him coming up as a secret boss is the absolute worst thing to have.

You're damning the wrong person. You should be looking at the economists and director of SE instead of the entire bunch. I'm certain that you're more than grateful to have so many wonderful games from the ones who created the games.

BUT WE KILL THE OTHERS! GAH!

But it's GILGAMESH! Must I direct you to a cutscene?

I used to just find Gilgamesh funny, now it's just an obsession.

Oh the horror.

Now that's just plain rude.

Why the hate?

Ah, the Gilgamesh of history. Yeah. I feel your pain.

Anyway, if we had a new secret boss, I would suggest Kefka from FFVI. I mean, why not. If there is no story behind it, it could work.

Also, taking down a giant heartless would be nice. How about an epic return of Darkside?
