Well, since it's about 5 years old now, and it was merely a concept video for just Kingdom Hearts 2, I doubt it'll have any more significance to the series (except for the scene in which Roxas somehow obtains the Kingdom Key).

Most of the quotes and scenes were already used in Kingdom Hearts 2, the rest was most likely scrapped.

it was a good vidio, i agree, but your right about alot of it being changed in KH2.
its like in the KH2 FM+ secret trailer, everyone is making up these giant theorys about the significance of these tiny details, like "you see a black aura around ven right before he gets frozen"

I think its mainly all for dramatic effect, like roxas' eye glowing in DD, or the purple heart that goes around him.it didnt mean anything, it was just to look good

true that, i never thought of that.
so maybe in the kh2fm version, thylle have planned it out a bit more and might include EVERYTHING with a giant significance leading up to a giant plot twist.
like the dark aura around ven was all the darkness in his heart coming out?lol now im just being weird

Well now, to be honest I always thought that that aura around Ven happened because he was "dying" like the Nobodies do (they always fade out with an aura like that if I'm remembering correctly) and when MX froze him he prevented Ven from dying in the "normal" way.
Which leads me to believe that Ven's a Nobody.....

I'm sure I'm looking too hard into this.

I was under the impression (before reading that the guy in the Heartless suit is Master Xehanort's apprentice) that MX and the guy in the Heartless suit were Nobody and Heartless, respectively. I assumed that MX somehow has complete control over switching from full person to a Nobody and Heartless.

no sir, confirmed by Nomura along time ago this is before the time of heartless which in turn is before nobodies. DS is not in a heartless suit as their is no heartless symbol on him. BBS is somewhat or mainly the basis of the events that have preceded through the recent KH games. And now you know the truth

No Heartless, and No Nobodies exist. Almost anyone else here will tell you the same

Well, the thing here is the KH2:FM secret ending was made when they were ALREADY working on BBS (the entire story was planned even before the english version of KH2 came out), whereas Deep Dive was made before they even planned on making a sequel.
