Terra is Terra in BBS, but in the KH games that we know that same being is Xehanort (who becomes XH/Ansem and Xemnas)

The character of Terra would be clearly different (but with some visible tie-ins) from the character of Xehanort. but for some reason BECOMES into the character of Xehanort.

That could be by transformation, magic, mind manipulation, etc. but he would be the same beign just a different character

If Terra becomes Xehanort, that doesn't change that it will still be Terra, someone can totally change, become evil, dye their hair, etc, they are still the same person than before.

Uh, no, not exactly.

If someone were to lose their memory, and grow up differently, then they would become a completely different person.
Take Sora and Roxas. Same body, different people.
Like twins. Different people, but the same in a way.
