Well the Terra fight in FM+ (unless i missed something) isn't set in the present KH2 timeline meaning that the fight could just be there and take place in the past (before KH1)

The Lingering Sentiment battle is not yet proven to be a canon battle. Nomura said we could both assume it is AND is not Terra. Take that how you will; personally I'd love it to be canon, but I doubt it'll be the case.

I believe, also, that Axel's name was based off Reno's favourite drink. Ale. So I take that to be his name, it's really up to you guys if you don't!

No really. There is ALOT pointing to Terra being Xemnas/Xehanort/etc.

Terra=Element earth or fire (Axel)
Vain=Element wind or thunder (Roxas)
Aqua= Element Water or Ice (Namine)

How did you get earth = fire, wind = thunder, water = ice?

If THAT were the case, then Ven would be Larxene and Aqua would be Vexen.
And we all know that is definitely not true? But anyway, Nomura already said that the names were to connect to Riku Sora and Kairi's names.

ts impossible for terra to be xemnas. you can fight terra in fm+ but xemnas and xehanort hadnt combined also axel cant be terras nobody for that reason

Not really. As VAT said, there's a lot pointing towards Terra being Xemnas/Xehanort in some way.

Terra battle is pretty much not a factor. Nomura said it was uncertain if Lingering Sentiment was Terra or not, and that in the end it doesn't matter if you think he is.

If it's canon, we don't know when it's supposed to take place. Could be the present, could be the past, unlikely that it's the future.

Personally I lean towards the idea that if it's canon it's in the present, and it's a "ghost" of sorts.

Just, I see here that the theory Xehanort = Terra is possible. But didn't Nomura state that VAT are all new characters? If Xemnas = Terra, that means Terra is not a new character, correct? So, I guess that logically Terra cannot be alone Xehanort, or else, I don't see how Terra is a new character...
Beside, outside of looking like Xemnas, Terra looks near of nothing like Ansem heartless...

The theory isn't that Terralike simply grows up to be Xehanort/Xemnas, because obviously, he's Terra. The theory is that the Xehanort/Xemnas we know in KH2 is Master Xehanort of BBS in Terra's body. Therefore, the character that is Terra is entirely new, his body isn't though =P

Terra is Terra in BBS, but in the KH games that we know that same being is Xehanort (who becomes XH/Ansem and Xemnas)

The character of Terra would be clearly different (but with some visible tie-ins) from the character of Xehanort. but for some reason BECOMES into the character of Xehanort.

That could be by transformation, magic, mind manipulation, etc. but he would be the same beign just a different character

My guess is that Terra fused with Master Xaghanort(excuse the misspelling) to stop him from doing something,like opening kingdom hearts or something.Which would explain Xaghanorts genius and young appearance compared to the old guy we see in Birth by Sleep.
