Where did the Keyblade War take place?

cause a war between light and dark would be huge.
And spread to many worlds.

~ i don't think it was some world war. it's more like a war between the relms or the relms vs master xehanort and his nutcase apprentice or i don't know, dangit! whatever started this mess, it happened at the gathering place.

Since when does a whole war take place at one spot? The war probably took place throughout all the worlds. Besides, the so-called "light army" living in the castle would mean that Ansem and the other citizens of Radiant Garden knew about the war. Which they obviously don't.

I said world war, but i think the final battle happened at the gathering place. I cant think of any other reason why all those keyblades would be there....unless somebody loaded them up and moved them there, stuck them in the ground to make a cross pattern and said "yay keyblade art!"

I would say the Gathering Place because of all the keyblades there.

Second Choice- World War....but who knows....only time will tell.....

It was a war fought accross all Worlds, because Keyblade Wielders can come from any world.

anyway, like the other members said, the original KH2 secret ending is almost completly non-canon. it was made back when development started for BBS.

Generally speaking, a war is composed of multiple decisive battles, with the outcome of each battle giving ground to one side or the other. If you look at it from that point of view, it doesn't really make sense to ask "where did the Keyblade War take place," does it?

I definitely believe a battle occurred, at some point, at The Gathering Place, but I in no way believe that that battle was the only one. Therefore, it's probable to state that the war occurred in multiple worlds, which could even be evidenced by the fact that Terra journeys to other worlds in his pursuit of Master Xehanort (though I could be stretching it a bit). But that's just my point of view. ^^;

Why can't it happen in lots of worlds, if it's just one battle in one world it really isn't a war, and probably the gathering place was the Final Battle and having it in lots of worlds sounds cooler.

I like the idea of the final battle being at the Gathering Place.


I think it would be best this way:

the war breaks out across pretty much everyworld.
all worlds are torn apart in the war from the many battles that took place.
then only one place remains.

Yes, yes, I know wars don't normally take place in only one area, but this is KH meaning Disney worlds, meaning they have a limited number of choices to make especially because almost no one seemed to know what a Keyblade was in Sora's time. Most likely, the "armies" decided to settle it all in an empty wasteland so they don't have to risk ruining a lot of other worlds.
