Mostly I think that Vexen was the most intelligent (read: book smart), I think Zexion was the smartest, being the most clever, creative, and also being the "The Cloaked Schemer".

Nope. He isnt as old as he looks. I read once, that Vexen is the oldest in the organization.

But this thing isnt very important lol. Everybody is kinda smart, except Larxene lol.

I would say Vexen because of his scientific knowledge... but he's a bit on the loopy side. XD
Axel has more of a... what's the word, he's smarter person wise.. not much 'E=MC2' like that/

Xemnas is very smart.
But Zexion takes a win for me. :D

I think Axel is the smartest, hes so cunning and conniving, he betrays the whole organization eventually, and still got away with it, he made up his own little scheme in his head. Also Marluxia, he too betrayed the organization, found out a way to mess with Soras head, held up castle Oblivion.

None of them are smart because 8 of them managed to be slain by a teenager, a dog, and a duck.

1 of them sacrificed himself, 2 of them were betrayed, and one found his other half.

So, in short, virtually none of the Org members are smart. But, I would pick Vexen if I had to.

I think Xigbar is the oldest. he looks it too. he was the second person to join the organization after xemnas. and he seems to know about other keyblade wielders(VAT?)

Smartest? In terms of what?
My vote goes to Zexion and Axel when it comes to manipulating people and such. Those two could be great spies.
Academically? That would be a tough one. All of the first 6 were scientists. I'll just go with Vexen for his ability to create Repliku. Not really a smart idea, but the fact that he was able to create it is somewhat impressive.

It depends what you consider intelligence.

Vexen's smart when it comes to scientific knowledge but one crazed up fruit loop
Zexion's probably very book smart yet allowed Axel to intercept RR causing his death.
Xemnas because I think somewhere that he was the most extraordinary of the apprentices of AtW when he was Xehanort.
