actually,in a game,when the protagonist will enter a battle and the outcome has been predetermined by a previous game,or by the story,the battle ends with a loss even though the player wins.

And like mon said even if you win the story will end with sora coming back and winning in a cutscene.

Aww, I wouldn't want to fight Sora! After playing as him for most of the other games, fighting him would just seem wrong...

Ok lets say at the end of 358/2 Days you fight Sora playing as Roxas. Now at the end of that fight who wins...? Sora of course because that is what happens in Final Mix +. So there would be no point in fighting sora if you will have to lose.

But we also get to fight Riku in the game, and we all know he loses that fight, because that's what kicked off the events in KH2.

What would happen is this: you'd "win" the battle, and then they show a cutscene when your enemy recovers, strikes back, and wins.

It would be nice, but it wouldnt that important to the story, since we all know what happens after the fight, it would be there only to satisfy the fans
