Why do Heartles release hearts when they are killed?

Why do Nobodies have bodies?

Yeah I never fully understood this any answers will help.

Because they ARE hearts. Hearts that have fallen to darkness.

Why do Nobodies have bodies

Because that's what they are: body and soul left over when a strong hearted person becomes a heartless.

When a person lost his heart in the darkness, so his heart will live in the dark side. And the heart himself, will give the person the body. Shadow etc. The name of them is called heartless, cuz they are hunting hearts, because they lost their heart to the darkness.

A nobody takes the empty body of the person, who has lost his heart in the darkness. Only a strong person with a strong heart is qualified to have a nobody.

But it's kind of funny how Heartless are the beings that have hearts (The hearts have fallen to darkness, but they still have hearts) and then Nobodies are the beings that have the body and soul (but no hearts...) it seems backwards, but at the same time the names are right backwards... haha

I also wondered about heartless, why they release a heart after being killed lol. I recognized, the name, "heartless", that confuses lol.

Heartless are hearts...in a manner of speaking.

When a person loses their heart, the darkness in their heart becomes a heartless. To retain form, the heartless capture a heart.

Why do Nobodies have bodies?

Because they aren't no bodies. When they say nobodies, they aren't referring to your body, they're referring to your identity. You are not anyone because who you used to be is dead. So in that sense, you truly are nobody. Get it now?

I think of the names have more of a metaphorical meaning
I like it like that. They seem backwards if you are thinking literally, but they make perfect sense if you think about it another way. It's very interesting

heartless are the darkness of hearts (souls). how stronger the darkness, how bigger and more dangerous the heartless.

the nobodies are the empty shells of the humans that became heartless. so they don't have a heart. i think the "body" is meant as the soul.

if you've played kh1 and kh2 you should know this...

unless you didnt bother reading the ansem reports and secret ansem reports

Uh, stop being rude. Maybe he did read the Ansem's reports, but failed to understand them, or had a little trouble understanding the concept of it all. Don't be so inclined to have a good at someone for whatever reason you see fit. Next time kindly advise them of where to gain knowledge of the game, not have a go at them.

like gungonX said, kindness is a virtue of the forums. I have 2 reps through it and receive at least a bit of respect through some members. I've made mistakes like this too, but really you have to know when to bash someone, and when not to.

This was already explained, heartless don't have hearts, they are the darkness leftover from the heart, and as instinct they prey on them

And Nobodies dont have hearts, they are the body left over from the victim which is rare, explaining why there are so few of them
