i think why everyone thinks sora is unoriginal is that he fits the typical heroe aimed at younger audiences, and if you look at comics like DC and marvel, that changes dramatically

But before Sora, there was rarely a character, if not at all similar to him in my opinion, within this type of game and genre with these types of company directing it.

Sora is basically 70% of all Shounen protagonists.
