^ So a reference to FFVII in Xenogears makes more sense than a reference to KH in FF?

Is this directed at me? If so sorry, I haven't watched Xenogears before. So I cannot comment. My apologies.

Not directly to you ^^' Just for when I hear it is totally impossible.

I saw this on Youtube. Tifa appear on a wall in Xenogears. Being given Xeno and FF are far more separated than FF and KH, well, I don't see what's so impossible for something like that about KH in a FF.

FF should only use their own characters

It could well be that they put in an easter egg or two for the new Kingdom Hearts installments. Just for fun purposes. But why would they want to have a Disney cameo in a Final Fantasy based game? Beyond Kingdom Hearts, Disney is nothing to Square-Enix in my opinion.

Well you do have to remember that Xenogears was made soley by Square in the first place, while Kingdom Hearts is made by DISNEY and Square, also don't forget that FFVII wasn't the only reference in Xenogears, because I'm a huge fan of that game, not the crappy games that followed, yeah I said it, I"m talking about Xenosaga, but anyways the other reference was Lucca from Chrono Trigger, whom was seen in the beginning of the game as part of the tutorial in Lahan Village, before you know what happened to it. So to end all this, yes it does make more sense to have a reference in a game like Xenogears more than KH in FF. One more thing, if you cared to notice FFXII came out after KH1 and COM , they could have made a reference to either games if they wanted to, and yet they didn't, but they made references to other FF games, such as FFVII and FVIII. KH in FF is impossible as I've said.

Birth by Sleep?

There were other keybladers like Mickey and Xehanort.

I agree since quite a few final fantasy characters are in kingdom hearts series, and final fantasy games are much more serious than kh. If they were to make an appearance, it would be very minor.

It's not that it's more 'serious', just when they created Kingdom Hearts they had to put the audience into the equation, and the age group that followed. So the scripts would have been changed to suit this.

They very could put something like "I already saw a boy with spikey haircut wielding a blade in form of key..." That's not a lot and is a reference.

Only those who understood nothing to Xenosaga call it crappy game... It actually is superior to Xenogears IMO. You can't debate on this because it is everyone point of view.

Anyway, this is possible like I said before that they do a little reference.

Meh, I understand very well that Xenosaga was a crappy ass game, and Xenogears was waaay superior to Xenosaga in every way. Also, you can't speak for everyone, seeing as you are one person, so how can it be everyone's point of view? Like I said Xenogears pwns Xenosaga, the story was better, the characters, the robots, everything, Xenosaga was just a shame of a game that couldn't hold up to it's predecessor. Lastly, as I've said it's impossible that a reference to KH would be in a Final Fantasy game because there were many opportunites for such a thing to happen, FFXII, FXII Revenant Wings, FFTacticsA2, FFTacticsWar of the Lions, just to name a few. There were NO refernces to KH AT ALL, saying that it's a possibility is not plausible and isn't even worthy thinking about.

I wonder if the fact that Disney owns the KH characters and not SE counts for anything...

It counts, I just didn't want to use it for the arguement since it'd be a low blow to those still believing KH will have some reference in a Final Fantasy Game.

Wow talk about a big change in the discussion, thanks to HadesDragon. Again. <3

I didn't know this? Is it just for the three main protagonists?
