Its confirmed for Japan in the Summer, but for DS games it doesn't take that long. COM came out a month after Japan's released.

Voices have been confirmed since about December. Geez....

YEAH! Maybe I can play it this summer. If there is voices (and I hope so) I hope they post a cast list soon.

BTW, on the localization thing, if localization is pretty much just text (and I know about some other stuff, I just said pretty much) why does it take longer for a PS2/PS3, etc. game to localize instead of a 1-3 month DS localization process?

The handheld systems are usually easier because everything is smaller ans simpler.

Yeah, there have never been DS cutscenes with full vioce acting. Voices are mostly, short sayings or battle yells, like Ninja Gaiden DS for example.

Voices are going to be in the DS version of KH. But it will come out in January '09 at the very latest.

Uhh, what, Square Enix has made 2 games already for the DS with full Voice acting, is developing another (besides 358/2 Days). 2 Megaman games on the DS have full Voice Acting. Tales of Innocence has full Voice Acting. Archaic Sealed Heat has full Voice Acting. Professor Layton has full Voice Acting. Bioware DS has full Voice Acting.

^not to mention final fantasy crystal chronicles ring of fates had voice acting unless that was what you were referring too, i can totally see KH358/2 having voice acting

on the release date thing, square enix has stated that world-wide releases will become the norm for them so maybe 358/2 might be a world wide release, not saying it will be though. probably not coded because it would require a different phone model, maybe bbs

Oh yeah, I forgot about Ring of Fates...so, that's 3 Square-Enix games with Voice Acting, 1 in development (I was originally talking about Dragon Quest IX), and then 358/2 Days presumably.
