You know, this may be the answer to the "keychainless Keyblades" riddle. It could be that there weren't a lot of people with strong hearts back then, they thought they needed the light. So to get to that light, they made Keyblades because they thought that it's the only weapon they could use to get to the light. People fought over the light using the artificial Keyblades, which was the Keyblade War. MX and his apprentice had somehow surpassed the rule, both getting Keyblades when they seemed so close to the darkness. They probably knew more about the light and the dark than all the other "Keyblade wielders" and disappeared one day to accomplish something. This is probably why VAT's master thought that MX and his apprentice will cause a disaster. Or something along those lines.

I thought once that the reason they didn't have keychains because they were taken from them for a unknown reason maybe like how dog tags are taken from a fallen soldier because I don't think the keyblades are man maid I mean look at kairi's keyblade it was made by riku but it still has a keychain but your theory of why there's no keychains sounds good too

About the keyblade war theory thought I think that it can probley be explained threw the legends, One legend states that the Keyblade master saved the world, while another said he wrought chaos and destruction, it probley meant that MX was going to bring peace to the worlds but destroyed them instead I mean it would explain why he's called Master Xehanort instead of just Xehanort

The way you make it sound, it seems as if it was left in the garbage, and no one else cared about it, but you

What a false statement.

1.I like that thread about Egyptian connections to the secret ending

2. I liked Yannis's how to make theories thread (it should be stickied, but meh, the mods don't care)

3. I liked LV's (Lezard Valeth) translation of that French Magazine thread

Hmm, there are others, but I can't remember them
