There are 8 books telling about all that the King Mickey did in past years before KH2. They are in Yen Sid´s office.

I dont think that Mickey was ever taking Yen Sid´s hat in KH.

They are about his adventures before KH2. Like Jiminy´s Journal =)

Yeah, I seen those. I wish that we could read them too.... but unfortunately we can't. Square did that a lot... but small things he puts in his games that we'd only be intrested when and if he announces his next project. I guess he might've not known if BBS was going to actually be real or not at that point. In an interview way back Nomura said that they weren't even planning on KHII when they finished KHI... but now I'm wondering about the secret ending... strange... maybe they put that in there just in casE? Lol

I think that the painings will be revealed in BBS. After all, we already know that Yen Sid's castle is in BBS.

The books are clearly a reference to Fantasia, not to BbS or anything. I'd imagine that a Fantasia-esque storyline would have happened well before BbS.

Those pictures are supposed to be Mickey's ancestors, nothing more. They were seen once in one of the old Mickey cartoons (perhaps the Prince and the Pauper, I forget to be honest), which goes to show yet another outside Disney reference.
