Yoko Shimomura fans embrace! *new song for Versus 13*

I also made this topic in the Square-Enix section, but as some KH fanatics are not interested in Final Fantasy at all and dont bother looking there, I decided to post it here too. The song is very nice, and makes me very excited for the Versus Soundtrack!

I've got high hopes for this title, and being an avid fan of Yoko Shimomura's work, this is very promising. If it is indeed from Versus XIII, I look forward to seeing how it is integrated, and how all the other tracks are!

Oh it really is from Versus XIII, no worries. She just released a soundtrack with several pieces of her work on games, including Versus XIII. Maybe also Kingdom Hearts, probably, actually (though not the unreleases games).

Heard a bit, downloading it right now. Promising. This combined with the song from the trailer gives me high hopes for the Versus OST.

Hmm, the only reason why I showed some wariness was because her CD is not to be released until next month. I am well aware of Drammatica however =D I was even going to purchase it myself. If we're getting leaks this early, I wonder what else we'll get music wise in the coming weeks

wow, that music is impressively promising. It seems the upon each FF the dramatic music is kicked always kicked up a notch. More for the movie effect which is wonderful

Well anyway it has now been proven fake.. "It's not the FFvsXIII theme. It's a theme from an anime called Getbackers from one of the badguys named Makubex."

Ah well, more to look forward to, eh?

you know, i knew that somehow the sound was familiar because i have watched the episodes of the Getbackers......ah well.

It seemed familiar as i couldn't place the melody that start off, and so i figured it was like a mix from the tunes that they use on movies. LOL, how embarrasing

Haha well at least that is cleaned up. I think I'll put in a preorder for this CD. Does anybody know whether we'll be getting one bonus track, or more? Various sources have quoted different numbers, so is there actually an official one?
