yeah I don't want to ignore that ATW could have been wrong. remember this is all as a result of experiments and hypothesis. he formed a conlusion. but I wouldn' be surpised if he was wrong. or at least didn't have all the information. so his conclusions could have exceptions. Yeah, here's the thing: I can't really dig up the interview right now (cause my internet has taken a sexual prefference and goes on and off every few minutes, but I'm sure if you look for it, you'll find it), Nomura states that it is uncertain if the Lingering Sentiment/Spirit/Will/etc is actually Terra, and even if you think he is it doesn't matter.

I take this to mean that the battle isn't canon. Of course, if it was, then that's a different story, VAT is correct, and perhaps that LS is a form of the new enemy, but...yeah.

And i'm agnostic! Tis why I consider them more law then bible. XD Cause the law is absolute and we know that the law is true. Well. At least some. Either way. It's more absolute then the bible. No offense to anybody who follows it.

But here's my reason for not thinking it's a soul: If the new monsters were made out of souls, then that would mean that someone (MX, or whoever) found a way to separate them from whole people. And it just seems unlikely to me that that would happen any time before Xehanort discovered how to create heartless and nobodies. So I think a soul-enemy is possible, but I would expect it to be in the future, not the past. I think these things in BBS are something else entirely.

Actually, it does seem stranger since the way that people appear are whole and is using a "transportation" type thing.

Suddenly appearing from dust is a little off methinks since it's something a ghost would do, using a natural element.
A portal is sumthing that's from sci-fi or a summoning thing. Like a door if you will, or a rip through time and space, THEN the figure travels through that.
Gummi ship - duh, it's a space ship.
Glyphs from the sky? Also a portal-like thing.

Then you see dust blowing in the wind and a figure suddenly appears. Now, unless Terra is able to break is molecules into dust or something, I still say that's something ghost-like. The whole area of that seen just gave off that feel. empty area, howling wind, abandon, plus his name even hints at it "Lingereing Seteniet(?)" and lingering feeling. I dunno about you, but a feeling isn't exactly supposed to be something physical unless it was a strong FEELING left behind. Like a ghost or something...

ah yes.....(scratches butt cheek hairs) the pieces are coming together, they could indeed be a parasite. what if they were born as some sort of reaction, like how dark and light balance each other......light was overwhelming and the parasites were the result, and so they gave existence to an element that triggers darkness trying to adhere to the balance. Once the darkness was triggered the heartless took shape.....ahhh to sciency.

Other than Zero, which totally doesn't count, what other ghosts are there? Soul-less would imply that there is no soul, not made of the soul.

Meaning, should there be a soul-less, it would be some other means. Like the heart and body, but we all know that the body dies, so f--k that idea.

And as for this thread, the answer is simple. Auron died when he fought Yunalesca. He charged, she knocked him on his back, and his neck snapped, or whatever. I wasn't paying too hard attention.

His soul was removed from his body, thus making him dead. Hades raised him, you know, being lord of the dead. Meaning Auron had to be dead for Hades' effect to work of him. With the underworld being the land of the dead, for naughty souls, one can surmise that there is another place for souls that isn't so morbid. Hmm, but what could that place be? Possibly a Kingdom Soul? No, that doesn't sound right.

Gosh, this so hard to think of a place that is good for souls. I'll never think of this in a million years. What in heaven's name could it be?

I don't think the enemies are souls, because when a nobody is created, the body and soul automatically stay together to form it. I think if the soul were capable of separating and becoming something else entirely, it would have been seen doing so by now.
