Dont Read At Your Own Risk

Compiled Rules/InfoThread

Just clearing out the stickied threads...here goes.

RULES :

"READ THIS SPAMMERS"

You know, I'm rather sick and tired of people spamming. Allow me to tell you why:

#1. Spamming shows that you have no respect for anything with in the forum/board for which your spamming in. It shows your a selfish idiot that doesn't care how your remembered.

#2. Most spammers can't write. Now, if the spam was written in exceptional english. But when it's all crap that makes no sence and is plany done by idiots such as "you suck Gman. You are an idiot. So what are you gonna do about it, call your mommy????????", it just shows how idiotic you truely are, and how little you know. I mean, that isn't even a full thought, nor a proper insult considering I'm 6', 300lbs, am able to lift over 300lbs and am afraid of nothing. If your going to insult anyone, for god's sake, learn about them first.

#3. Spammers generally don't know anything about what their spamming about. Go to any message board where people are well educated such as SA, Temple Of The Screaming Electron, etc, and you will see their all well educated and there is NO SPAM. All you show by spamming is that you lack the mental aptitudes to actually do something constructive/worth while. A spamming attack can easily be deleted in maybe 10 minutes max. Sure, it's 10 minutes gone, but then, that's 10 minutes of your life gone.

Spammers really, are people that have no life, no IQ and don't know crap all about anything(not true). You can argue your point about this, but tell me this; If they have any form of IQ, why do they bother spamming at all? Their just idiots looking for attention their parents don't give them(not true also).

"HACKERS AND SPAMMERS"

I've seen alot of people saying "So And So Is A Hacker" then showing that in all actuality, they were just scammers.

Hacker:
Well, Hackers, the smart ones atleast, wont say crap all, but will do stuff like this:

#connect http something
<Run File Here>
<List Of Commands In File>
<Enter Command Here>
<List Of Posts>

That is hacking, not that "I'll give you $20 for your account" crap. That is just someone playing on someone's idiocy and lack of intelect to use them. Really people, the dark side of hacking and "Scamming" have nothing in common, heck, hacking on average, happens to TPPC maybe once every year, and it's just one or two attempts, scamming is more or less hourly.

So please, label your posts correctly, and not just put hackers and scammers into the same pile. Their quite different. One is just a game offence, the other, federal ;)

Along with that, don't put all Hackers into one pile, there are good hackers whom work to test site security and help the webmasters make a more secure and bug free site, and then you have your lame hackers whom wish to just cause havoc for no reason.

Even in these Groups you have your sub groups, one of which is crackers whom just make No CD-Keys for games, and generally, are able to make programs or fix them, and then you have your evil little Crackers whom bug games.
Examples of the latter are all the hacks and mods you can get your Games like Starcraft and Warcraft of which just make you auto win, and Diablo 2 hacked items of which Blizzard keeps deleting. The former is basicly Blizzard it's self; people whom fix what the foolish Crackers have made :P

Hope this helps you to understand the difference between Hackers, Scammers and Crackers, and that you can thus from now on use the proper word to define who screwed you over, or helped you :P

It's a very nice thought to do this Mind Distortion. Could a mod please pin this like Cloud Unchained said? I actually learned something from it, and I think many other people could too if the would take the time to read it.
