Is there any way you could make so that you don't have to go to a persons user profile to add them as a friend? Like, just add it to the buttons on the bottom right of every post or the drop down when you click on somebodies name? Because that would make that feature a whole lot more accesible and probably more noticeable.

If you click on someone's name in a post, and select 'Add as contact' it will also ask if you want to send them a friend request.

Though, it kinda seemed like contacts and freinds lists were two different things.

Well, actually, they are different. "Friends" are new and displayed on your profile; the Contact List is the same as your Buddy List.

Also, is there any reason you couldn't have just sent DG a PM?
