This is more geared toward people that have browsed the forums for a significant part of their lives (>3 years) but hey, I guess it wouldn't hurt if you wanted to compare your two months ago to now.

Basically, recall what kind of person you were when you joined the forums, what kind of things you did, and then compare it to the present. :D

THEN (August, 2004):
-recently moved cities
-high school freshman
-zero local friends
-moped about the move and played guitar to pass the time
-spent way too much time on this forum

NOW (April, 2012):
-college sophomore
-handful of friends
-unemployed
-watch anime, play guitar, and mope about ex girlfriend to pass the time
-this is probably the first time I've logged in all year, and months before that

+ i spend most of my time on tumblr while on the internet.

-Moved back to home in Taiwan
-Studied hard as hell...
-Moving around and deciding what to major
-In college
-Fiddling around with photography, literature and 3D animation
-Think this is my first time posting for... I dunno, 6 years??!

- Social outcast to the 5th degree
- Didn't give a shit about school because I liked vidya more and subsequently failed a class or two each quarter (we had quarters at my then-high school)

NOW
- Going to school semi-part time for graphic design (which I started to get into thanks to these forums)
- Working at college paper as design director, win awards for it, get recognized by school, meet awesome people, travel around country twice a year for conventions; it's p legit
- Live in a decent apartment with high school friends
- Pretty stable living/life situation
- Social outcast to the negative 12th degree
- Sigh... single as kupo.
