Through the past three or so years that i've been deliberately active on KHI, i've always been particularly fond of the KHI chat. Really, it's a stupid place and none of you should ever go there. While so, of all the various gramps of the ages such as wu tang goku and Silh, none of these forum oldmen have ever racked a sum of khi chat hours comparable to our good ol' forum friend, aniki, and uncle, Ric.

Ben: Firstly, just how did you become acquainted with KHI (Kingdomhearts2.net at the time) in the first place?

Ric: Hm. I think I was just browsing the internet, still high off beating Kingdom Hearts and eventually found my way to this site.

B: When was this?

R: Shit. It was back in '04 sometime.

B: So it's pretty much safe to assume that most of the OG KHI crew were drawn in by the game itself, rather than other aspects such as the roleplaying or graphics sections?

R: Well, at first, yeah. My time here was most spent frequenting the roleplaying section. I remember the days when people like AJ and KWB were still there and I was just an illiterate kid. Honestly, if it wasn't for KHI, I probably wouldn't be able to write as well as I do now. (Which still isn't very well)

B: Haha, same case here. (Minus the roleplay lol) Following the standardized formula of all the other past interviews, just what do you do when you're not on the internet? I do know that you golf.

R: Yeah. I just recently joined my school's golf team and was previously on the football team this season as well. I've been trying to get back into boxing, but uh, lazy and no monies. But besides that, I'm a musician and a lot of my down time, if not on the internet, is playing music.

B: What instruments? From what I know, you play bass guitar, normal guitar, and drums?

R: I play a EVERYTHING. Well, not everything. But if you give me an instrument, there's a good chance I'll be able to play it within a few hours of tinkering with it. But I'm best with the bass guitar and it's my favorite as well.

B: How is recording demos? Sure you don't have the equipment at the moment, but do you imagine yourself contributing some material to Cameron's dead Homemade Music Thread?

R: If I stop being lazy, yeah. I mean, it's not going to be Xaldin quality works (that asshole), but they'll just be a little something something of either a cover or my own work.

B: Do you see yourself producing music as a career?

R: It's possible. I see myself doing something in music in the future.

B: While on the subject of music, have you started reading Green Lantern yet? (how is this relevant to music)

R: I'm saving it for the weekend and I'm looking forward to it.

B: While that was horribly irrelevant, what do you think of the current generation of KHI's userbase? And what of the possible incoming generations for Kingdom Hearts 3?

R: There are some fun kids, these kids. I mean. not exactly the wisest, but it's interesting to read what most have to say even though I usually get too irritated to read an entire thread. As for a possible new generation, same shit with new shitty usernames? I'm sure things will get a little busy, but I'll be looking forward to the shitstorm of new members.

B: Ken also tells me you've been watching Welcome to the NHK. What do you think of that, and what would you do in case of a zombie emergency?

R: So far, it's pretty great. Kinda makes me sad at the same time 'cause I can relate (lol weeaboo). Also, fast zombies or regular zombies?

B: Depends on the size and build of the zombies.

R: You're the one making up the scenario.

B: Depends on the size and build of the local inhabitants of your community.

R: LA. Wide range of niggas.

B: Sooo... You'd be fucked?

R: For the most part, yeah. I'd either blow my brains out of go out like a damn pro.

B: Unless you somehow by the grace of god acquired a firearm and hefty amounts of ammunition, but lol California

R: I have weapons in my home. They're in my closet, actually. But uh, as far as ammunition, there are tons of places where I could possibly stock up on the stuff. Like you said, lol California.

B: To wrap things up, we mentioned the future of KHI's common users, but what of the staff? Where do you think we'll be in the future to come?

R: I wouldn't be surprised if, within a year from now, there were another batch of people in the staff section due to reasons such as current mods retiring because they aren't able to be on as much as they used to. I mean, many of us are(or should be) preoccupied with shit like work and school. I'd like to stay on the staff as long as I possibly could, but I know eventually I probably wouldn't be able to be on as much as I like(but I have no life so I don't know when that's going to be.)

B: But of course, we have members who frequent even though they are indeed preoccupied with jobs and school, like Joe. Even Hidden pops up every once in a while.

R: Of course. We're all bros and what not. Kinda hard to leave a family hanging like that, eh?

B: Internet homies: Relatively more dangerous than actual homies

R: Absolutely.
